Suye felt no frustration at all. In his view, every failure yielded an experience of "why it failed," and each such experience was a step toward success.
Failure itself had never been the mother of success. The thought, analysis, summary, and new action that followed failure, along with the joy of gaining something and affirming oneself, were the true mothers of success.
Because he did not use blind practice but instead practiced deliberately, Suye's understanding of the Flame Hydra's Magic Array Diagram grew deeper and deeper.
