Kelton stood there stiff as a statue, dazed for several seconds before hurrying after Suye. Walking beside him, he smiled and said, "Don't put it so harshly. I came to find you because I want to cooperate. When we chatted before, I think you said you'd spend this month studying and talk about making money after the month was over. Now, the time has come."
"I didn't expect you to be so good at mathematics and memory," Suye said as he walked.
Hark followed behind them, while the coachman drove the carriage slowly along at the very back.
Kelton asked, "Well? Have you thought of any new dishes or ideas?"
"Too many. You can't afford them," Suye said.
"Name your price." Kelton looked smug.
"Ten thousand Golden Eagles."
Kelton smiled helplessly. "I'm being serious."
"I'm not joking either." Suye stopped and looked at Kelton solemnly.
"Let's discuss it at Dolphin River." Kelton's expression turned serious.
"You're sure?" Suye asked with a smile.
Kelton let out a long sigh and said to Hark, "Do you see this guy? The last time he came to me, he was incredibly respectful. Now he's started looking down on me."
Hark turned his head and looked into the distance.
Suye smiled and walked toward the carriage.
The three of them boarded the carriage one after another. Suye and Kelton sat together, while Hark sat across from them.
Kelton was silent for quite a while before saying, "Your salad dressing recipe exceeded my expectations. Money isn't important. What matters is making my reputation spread throughout Greece, and it's even reached Rome. That second heir of the Avilado Family actually visited Dolphin River a few days ago and personally bought the salad dressing recipe from me."
"Don't tell me how much he paid. It'll break my heart."
