Everyone knew that Andre could never have killed Suye. It was the Witch Hunt and the temples that had killed Suye.

Instead, this prompted many nobles to lavish praise on Andre. They flocked to visit him, and many Great Nobles even gave him extremely generous gifts.

The Witch Hunt held a grand ceremony to honor Andre, granting him an estate, houses, money, and Magic Artifacts. They even paid mages to build a new residence for the Tross Family.

Time flew by. A month later, the new Tross Family residence was completed, though some of the finer details were rather rough.

Andre did not care in the slightest. He casually recruited a whole new group of servants and a steward, spending every day either staring blankly into space or aimlessly reading Magic Books.

Another month passed, and things gradually settled down.

Through the unceasing efforts of certain interested parties, Suye slowly became a devil, a Black Mage who would stop at nothing for power, a sinner who had nearly caused the Death Plague, and a murderer who had slaughtered innocents.

Even the widely known Zackrey Incident was transformed into a story of Suye refining Zackrey into a puppet, then killing the nobles and burning Grey River Town to ashes.

Some of the few ordinary civilians who continued to support Suye disappeared outright. Others reappeared after several days, but had become utterly silent.
