"Who gave you the nerve to slander my student!" Gregory shouted, glaring furiously at Suye.

This burly middle-aged man looked more like a warrior than a mage.

Many of the teachers in the hall wore gloomy expressions as they glared at Suye displeasedly.

Only Niedern breathed a sigh of relief.

Suye's audacity meant he had a solution.

Suye looked toward Gregory and asked, "Who gave you the wisdom to determine the outcome so early?"

"I have enough wisdom!" Gregory said.

"A wise person is still thinking." Suye smiled.

Some of the teachers stared at Suye, lost in thought.

Laurence said nothing. He simply watched Suye carefully.

The staircase leading to the Holy Domain was not forged from emotion.

Even when his student's student was involved, the fluctuations in Laurence's heart lasted only an instant.

It was only after repeatedly reading Carlos's article that Suye underwent a complete transformation. His gaze became more resolute, and his expression more relaxed.

Laurence had even used magic to observe Suye's heartbeat and blood-flow rate. He had previously observed Carlos's as well.

If he judged solely by their physical reactions, the result he reached was extremely absurd. Carlos might not have been lying, but he looked more like a liar than Suye did.
