Ch. 482Overall Champion King!

Suye celebrated his unprecedented Pythian Tournament victories as Alamo joked about his titles and interviewed him before the crowd. The closing ceremony began awarding his world-record statues, and Berngora approached to present the Overall Champion King award.

  • Alamo teased Suye about surpassing Heracles and asked him to address the legendary champion, and Suye jokingly offered to apologize over a meal.
  • Suye credited the gods, the Greeks, and the great thinkers whose methods he had learned for his achievements, then told amusing stories from his childhood.
  • High Priest Meng'endu presented Suye with a golden statue for breaking Heracles's heavy armor run record and announced that statues honoring Suye would be erected in Delphi and Athens.
  • High Priests presented Suye with seven golden world-record statuettes for the heavy armor run, cross-country heavy armor run, discus, long jump, javelin, swimming, and harp.
  • The audience rose and chanted for the Overall Champion King award as Acades watched with nostalgia.
  • Chief High Priest Berngora praised Suye's humility and gently patted his shoulder before presenting the Overall Champion King award.

Ch. 483The Eternal Twilight

At the Pythian Tournament Closing Ceremony, Suye received the Sun Flower Crown, the Overall Champion King trophy, and Apollo’s Radiant Harp as divine miracles transformed the arena. After Apollo’s gift, a gigantic White Peacock appeared and gave Suye a star-patterned feather, while the crowd waited to learn what divine gifts would follow.

  • Berngora summoned the Sun Flower Crown for Suye, and the setting sun remained suspended above Greece in an eternal twilight miracle.
  • Berngora presented Suye with the Overall Champion King trophy and the legendary Radiant Harp, which could heal, fire Magic Arrows, and resist divination.
  • A vast divine presence filled the arena, and a blazing sun descended upon Suye as Apollo’s divine gift.
  • Sisyphus and the spectators wondered whether Zeus or Hera would give Suye another gift and reveal whether he had a god-king’s bloodline.
  • A gigantic White Peacock appeared beside Suye, plucked a star-patterned feather, and merged it into his body.

Ch. 484Twelve Divine Blessings

Suye received twelve divine blessings at the Pythian Tournament, surpassing Heracles and setting a Greek record. After Apollo brought eternal dusk to celebrate the tournament, Alamo led Suye to the Sun God Temple’s chariot to return him to the Plato Academy branch.

  • Artemis, Poseidon, Hermes, and Dionysus granted Suye blessings, and Suye drank the Godly Wine before sinking into a blissful stupor.
  • Venus, the Discord Goddess, the Harmony Goddess, the Three Graces, and the nine Muse Goddesses blessed Suye, bringing his total to twelve.
  • The host declared Suye Greece’s record holder for divine blessings, and Apollo announced a night of eternal dusk across Greece.
  • Alamo praised Suye for drawing the gods’ attention, while priests of the Sun God Temple warmly embraced him.
  • Julius, Commodus, and Castor connected Suye’s blessings to his role in the marathon, and Alamo escorted him toward the Sun God Temple’s chariot.

Ch. 485Proposing a Wish

Suye discussed exchanging his Overall Champion King trophy and other trophies with Alamo of the Sun God Temple, seeking treasures to accelerate his growth without making a sacrifice. Alamo revealed that the Overall Champion King trophy allowed him to state a wish, and the chapter ended with Alamo considering Suye’s request for a Divine Power Plane.

  • Alamo showed Suye the luxurious Magic Carriage and explained that the Sun God Temple had bought nearly a million Dragon's Fine Things products.
  • Suye agreed to return the Overall Champion King trophy to the Sun God Temple and said two of his four Champion King trophies belonged to Zeus and Hera.
  • Alamo explained that the Overall Champion King trophy could let its contributor state a wish, and told Suye that Heracles had once received the Titan God Body after offering his trophy to Zeus.
  • Suye rejected the idea of accepting the Sun God's blessing and asked about treasures that could boost his growth without side effects.
  • Suye considered divine medicine, rare materials, Hydra divine blood, and other rewards before proposing a Divine Power Plane.
  • Alamo was surprised but said a Divine Power Plane could indeed be considered.

Ch. 486A Detailed Inventory

After winning the Pythian Tournament, Suye weighed how to turn his trophies and divine blessings into power, deciding that personal growth mattered more than competing for more championships. Back at Plato Academy’s branch, he celebrated with his companions and discovered that Apollo’s blessings had made him a formidable Light Element Lord.

  • Suye asked Alamo to watch for Divine Power Planes for sale and learned that he could exchange championship trophies for treasures in the Commerce Temple’s Luck Treasure Vault.
  • Suye concluded that he would stop entering competitions unless his growth stalled, rather than risk repeating Commodus’s mistake of wasting years on championships.
  • Suye returned to a grand celebration at Plato Academy’s branch, received valuable congratulatory gifts, and danced with Pallas.
  • Suye pretended to be drunk and went to his room, where he inspected his twelve new divine blessings in the Magic Tower.
  • Suye found that the Light Element Lord blessing granted him Heavenly Fortress, Radiant Flash, stronger and faster Light Element magic, and Light Element Summoning.

Ch. 487Domain Expansion

Suye examined the divine gifts and discovered that National Divine Authority had transferred four of Andre’s talents to him, including Mobile Casting. He sacrificed the Flower Town Deed to gain Domain Expansion, then went to sleep while Andre realized his talents were missing and erupted in anger.

  • Suye assessed the gods’ gifts, valuing Athena’s Magic Power Surge, Harmony’s Wisdom’s Words, and the Muses’ Heart’s Sound among his new talents.
  • Suye found four talents bearing the aura of National Divine Authority, including Mobile Casting, that had belonged to Andre.
  • Suye sacrificed the Flower Town Deed at the altar and received the six-ring Magic Talent Domain Expansion, which increased his domain’s radius by fifty percent.
  • Suye planned to visit the temple treasury and perform a Great Sacrifice the next day, then fell asleep wondering how Andre would react.
  • Andre discovered that he had lost four talents and angrily blamed Suye and Okeno in his room.

Ch. 488Don't Overthink It

Suye gave Pallas the Flower Town Deed to support their chamber of commerce and plans to help the poor, then visited the Sun God Temple to explore its Great Vault. He discovered that the vault was packed with treasures, and the brightest light he saw came from the sun overhead.

  • Suye explained that Flower Town’s income would fund the town and the Suye-Pallas Chamber of Commerce, and asked Pallas to buy a nearby town for settling people and establishing a magic school.
  • Pallas accepted the Flower Town Deed, and Suye gave her the Star Ring Gate and asked about temple treasures.
  • Suye told Pallas that every flower in Flower Town and every note of “Ode to Pallas” was for her, then left for the Sun God Temple.
  • Andre swore before Apollo’s statue that he would never cause trouble for Suye again, and Alamo took Suye to the Great Vault.
  • Suye surveyed the vault with his Magic Vision, Magic Perception, and Altar Eye, and saw that its brightest light came from the sun overhead.

Ch. 489Good Friends

Suye used the Altar Eye to assess the Sun God Temple’s treasures and exchanged his championship trophy for a small volcano that contained an undeveloped Divine Power Plane. He then went with Alamo to the Luck Treasure Vault, where he sensed that some of its sealed boxes were different.

  • Suye identified ten promising treasures, including the Volcano Plane and a World Tree Branch, while avoiding artifacts with dangerous auras.
  • Alamo urged Suye to make a sacrifice for better rewards, but Suye declined and exchanged his trophy for the Volcano Plane.
  • Suye and Alamo joked about Aristotle’s talent for finding treasures and the failed Anti-Aristotle Alliance, and Alamo warned Suye that enemies might target him.
  • Suye and Alamo entered the Luck Treasure Vault, where Suye sensed that some sealed boxes were unusual.

Ch. 490Alamo, What a Good Man

Suye used his newfound ability to sense valuable treasures to exchange for rare items at the Sun God Temple and Zeus Temple, while Alamo accompanied him and covered for his luck. The Zeus Temple’s Chief High Priest learned that Suye had taken a prized set of divine equipment, but accepted that the temples would not take it back.

  • Suye sensed treasures in the Sun God Temple vault and exchanged two ordinary Tournament Trophies for Frost Star Trace and a Demigod Magic Beast’s remains.
  • Alamo decided to accompany Suye to other temples, and the two traveled to Zeus Temple.
  • Suye ignored Alamo’s warning and exchanged a Champion King Trophy for a piece of Space Star Ore that held a mysterious power.
  • Suye used the Luck Treasure Vault to exchange two ordinary Tournament Trophies for a perfectly preserved Demigod Devil’s head and Zeus’s Dark Cloud Shield and Thunder War Spear.
  • A Zeus Temple priest blamed Alamo and the Sun God Temple for helping Suye take the treasures, but the Chief High Priest said the temples would not reclaim them.

Ch. 491All of Them Were Dumbfounded

Suye discovered that Athena’s temple let him exchange his trophies for far more valuable treasures than other temples did, and Alamo and the priests were dumbfounded by the goddess’s apparent favor. Convinced he should trust Athena, Suye decided to spend his trophies there and approached the vault’s seven greatest treasures.

  • Suye visited the Hera Temple with Alamo, exchanged a Champion King Trophy for a treasure, and left without entering the Luck Treasure Vault.
  • At the Athena Temple, Suye praised Athena and found that trophies could be exchanged for unusually powerful treasures at reduced costs, leaving Alamo and the priests astonished.
  • Suye recalculated his exchangeable trophies and realized he had 22 Tournament Trophies, 11 Champion King Trophies, and two Overall Champion King Trophies available in the temple.
  • Alamo and the Chief Priest urged Suye to accept Athena’s gifts, explaining that the goddess’s generosity was not limited by mortal measures of wealth.
  • Suye decided to trust Athena and keep all his trophies in her temple, then headed for the seven top treasures that required only Champion King Trophies to claim.

Ch. 492I Have an Aunt

Suye exchanged his trophies for rare treasures, including a Thunder Dragon Eagle King and a dragon deity’s head, then used his remaining prizes to open chests in Athena’s Luck Treasure Vault. The first two chests revealed powerful Semi-Divine Artifacts, confirming that Athena had arranged exceptional rewards for him.

  • Suye chose the Thunder Dragon Eagle King and the Dragon God's Head, then exchanged trophies for Miracle Servant remains and other treasures.
  • Suye entered the Luck Treasure Vault, saw three treasures worth tens of millions, and decided to exchange his remaining prizes for twenty-one chests.
  • Alamo and the other Chief Priest watched as the first chest revealed a Semi-Divine Artifact Floating City.
  • The second chest revealed Medusa's Shield, a powerful Semi-Divine Artifact forged by Athena's incarnation.

Ch. 493Fountain of Youth

Suye received a trove of divine treasures from Athena’s temple, including Divinized Olive Wood, and learned that Athena would reward him with a drop of the Fountain of Youth if he earned first merit in the coming war against Persia. Back in the Ruined Space, he prepared to strengthen himself by organizing the many divine gifts he had recently acquired.

  • The Chief Priest and Alamo opened the remaining chests, revealing treasures including Ten-Section Divinized Olive Wood, and agreed to keep the haul secret.
  • The Chief Priest told Suye that Athena had promised him a drop of the Fountain of Youth if he earned first merit in the next battle against the Persian Army.
  • Suye discussed the Fountain of Youth’s value with Alamo, then declared he would fight the Persians for the chance to exchange it for a Golden Apple.
  • Suye left Alamo after teasing him about Aristotle, returned to his room, and entered the Ruined Space to inspect his harvest.
  • Suye organized his recent divine gifts, counting twenty-five talents or bloodlines and one cup of divine-grade wine among the twenty-six new gifts.

Ch. 494Body Abnormality

After absorbing a Thunder Element bloodline, Suye suffered a painful backlash that damaged his room and affected his companions, revealing that the many recent divine gifts were overwhelming their bodies. Niedern warned him to avoid further divine gifts and intense cultivation for six months, while Suye planned to focus on Golden Magic and collect his winnings.

  • Suye sacrificed the Thunder War Spear and Dark Cloud Shield together and gained a Thunder Element General bloodline.
  • The bloodline triggered a splitting headache and uncontrolled lightning that hurt Di Aotian, Wang Dachui, and the Black Demon Sheep and wrecked Suye's room.
  • Wang Dachui explained that their bodies were rejecting the many recent divine-gifted powers, and Suye learned he could understand Di Aotian's language.
  • Suye asked Niedern for advice, and Niedern warned him to avoid developing talents or receiving divine gifts for six months while focusing on study and research.
  • Suye told Niedern he had gained Wisdom's Words, and Niedern explained that Creation Sound was the highest language talent and could unlock immense power.
  • Suye said he had spent his trophies at four temples and would collect his money the next day instead of visiting more temples.

Ch. 495Stealing from the Gods

Suye explained to Niedern why he had devoted his divine trophies to Athena’s temple, then entrusted him with equipment to sell and announced plans to raise horses. At his altar, Suye offered a Fire Plane and gained new powers and five God Transformation Treasure Diamonds, then discovered that Star Ring Gate was worth tens of millions.

  • Suye told Niedern that Athena mattered most to him and promised donations to the other temples, while Niedern warned that nobles and priests might still target him.
  • Suye left six pieces of golden divine power equipment and a set of Zeus’s Thundercloud Shield and Spear with Niedern to sell, and said he planned to raise horses.
  • Suye offered the Fire Plane at the altar and received Hero’s Body, Resonance Fire, and five God Transformation Treasure Diamonds.
  • Suye realized the diamonds could integrate divine might into powers or objects and decided to wait before using them while he investigated their value and rarity.
  • Suye used the Altar Eye to inspect the champion rewards and Andre’s apology, then froze when he saw that Star Ring Gate had tens-of-millions-level light mist.

Ch. 496God Transformation Treasure Diamond

Suye confirmed that Six Rings sacrifices could yield God Transformation Treasure Diamonds and discovered that the Star Ring Gate led to a Main God-level Old God Star. He recruited Niedern to help finance a major horse-farm acquisition, then learned how Elemental Resonance worked and chose Resonance Fire, leaving him determined to build up power over the next few months.

  • Suye placed the Star Ring Gate on the altar and received Dimensional Protection, Unimpeded Shuttle, and a God Transformation Treasure Diamond.
  • Suye woke Niedern and proposed buying ordinary horse farms to profit from an invention that would make cavalry far more effective.
  • Niedern agreed to invest and enlisted Vice President Neder and Teacher Thucydides to help manage the large-scale purchase.
  • Suye asked Niedern about Elemental Resonance, read the books Niedern sent, and learned its conditions and potential to summon an Element Master avatar.
  • Suye entered the Magic Tower and chose Resonance Fire, which ignited faint red flames across the Fire Element Root.

Ch. 497Volcano Plane

Suye entered the Volcano Plane and explored its rich but dangerous landscape, discovering that it offered far greater meditation benefits than the Giant Hills. The Hell Unicorn retrieved many valuable items from the largest volcano’s lava lake, but the Plane Heart remained hidden, so Suye prepared to win its trust.

  • Suye entered the Volcano Plane with Di Aotian and Wang Dachui, where his abilities protected him from the lava and heat.
  • Wang Dachui identified a Magic Silver Mine and explained that the plane could remain open for only a limited time until Suye mastered it.
  • Suye surveyed the tribes of magical beasts and Magma Elves around the largest volcano, then meditated and found the effect was three times stronger than in the Giant Hills.
  • Suye ordered the Hell Unicorn to search the lava lake, and it brought up a Magma Fire Crystal and many other treasures without finding the Plane Heart.
  • Wang Dachui suggested the Plane Heart still doubted Suye, and Suye produced a purple sphere of light to dispel its doubts.

Ch. 498Back to Athens!

Suye conquered the Volcano Plane, organized its riches and inhabitants, and planned how to build wealth and spread knowledge after returning to Athens. He left the story ready to return to Athens at dawn.

  • Suye defeated the Magma Elves’ resistance, drove off the Beastman monsters, and secured the tribe’s submission.
  • Suye gave the Plane Soul to the red Fat Boy, explored the Volcano Plane as its master, and found rich mines and valuable magic herbs.
  • Suye marked the richest deposits, sent Wang Dachui to mine a Magic Silver Mine, and tasked the Magma Elf Tribe Chief with carrying out his plans.
  • Suye left the Volcano Plane and spent the dawn planning to develop horse farms and porcelain, then introduce Paper Making and Movable Type Printing to spread magic and knowledge.
  • Suye concluded his preparations and looked east as the sun rose, ready to return to Athens.

Ch. 499Joint Temples

Suye visited the temples of gods who had granted him divine gifts, proposing cooperation and planning to develop cheap paper and printing to spread scriptures and sell books. He returned to find that Niedern had sold the Thundercloud Shield and Spear for 7.9 million Golden Eagles.

  • Suye asked Jimmy to contact Niedern after crowds gathered at the branch demanding to buy temple treasures, then left through the back entrance in disguise.
  • Suye collected more than six million Golden Eagles from Alamo and pitched the Sun God Temple on funding books made with cheap paper and a new printing technique.
  • Suye bought two enormous Spatial Rings and visited the temples that had granted him divine gifts, donating to each and discussing various cooperative ventures.
  • Suye returned to the branch late at night, where Niedern told him that the Thundercloud Shield and Spear had sold for 7.9 million Golden Eagles.

Ch. 500Arriving in Athens

Suye returned to Athens with the Plato Academy group after mining the Volcano Plane and discussing the danger awaiting him with Pallas. At the city gates, they encountered a funeral procession and armed soldiers apparently sent to confront him.

  • Suye learned from Wang Dachui that the Volcano Plane had once been a divine mine, and he gave Wang Dachui a Spatial Ring to continue mining its valuable ores.
  • The Plato Academy teachers and students left Delphi and traveled toward Athens while Andre watched them depart and vowed that people in Athens would be waiting for them.
  • On the journey, Pallas warned Suye that his enemies were prepared too, and Suye suggested she invest in Magic Horse ranches and join his planned horse-ranch acquisition.
  • As the group approached Athens, they found three funeral pyres, relatives of the dead holding spears, and more than a hundred soldiers gathered outside the gates.
  • Suye recognized the procession's connection to the dead and joked about entering through another gate, while Jimmy and Albert warned him that powerful soldiers and God of War Mountain might be involved.

Ch. 501Overbearing Princess

Suye returned to Athens and faced accusations from the Rolon, Kabel, and Enka families over his actions in Grey River Town. Pallas defended him by declaring a Family War against the Kabel Family, and Trak’s pleas failed to make her withdraw it.

  • The three families confronted Suye at Athens’s gates and accused him of murder, including Trak’s claim that Suye had burned Kanmonla to death in Grey River Town.
  • Pallas challenged Trak’s claim that the witnesses were refugees and demanded to know whether they were subjects of her family’s Green Town.
  • Pallas declared a Family War against the Kabel Family and invoked the Victory Spear Sword as her authority.
  • An Athenian Holy Domain general urged Pallas to withdraw the war and said the alleged evidence did not exist, but she refused.
  • Trak claimed the subjects had been taken by another noble and begged Pallas to withdraw the war, but she said the outcome had already been decided.
