After reviewing her lessons for the entire week, Xia Ran finally felt confident.

Jiang Siming then took her to Fudan University to sit a very formal examination.

Xia Ran was the only candidate in the classroom.

Four teachers were proctoring the exam around her.

Because this was not the official college entrance examination, she did not need to take two days. As long as Xia Ran was willing, she could begin the next subject immediately after finishing one.

Xia Ran finished every subject ahead of schedule, and she did not want to rest either.

Perhaps she did not want to take up too much of Jiang Siming's time.

So after finishing each subject, Xia Ran asked to continue with the next one.

She finished Chinese Language, the comprehensive liberal arts subject, and English in the morning.

Since Xia Ran loved novels and literature so much, she had naturally chosen the liberal arts track.

After the morning exams, Jiang Siming took Xia Ran to a restaurant outside for lunch.

"How is it? Tired? Why don't we come back and take the exams tomorrow?"

Jiang Siming sat at the table and watched Xia Ran savor, in tiny bites, the expensive delicacies she had never eaten before.

"No need, Brother Jiang. I'm not tired, really. I slept for twelve hours last night, so I'm especially full of energy now."

Xia Ran hurriedly waved her hands to show that it was unnecessary.

"Really?"

"Mhm. I feel like I'm in great shape. We might as well strike while the iron is hot. Maybe I'll perform beyond my usual level." Xia Ran smiled.

Jiang Siming nodded and did not insist.

"All right. After you finish eating, go sleep in my car for a while. Get enough rest, then finish the afternoon exams."

"I will, Brother Jiang.
