The violent bombardment made the entire tower tremble several times.
The Armored Vest, already battered to pieces, finally failed to withstand the barrage from the four heavy cannons. It shattered with a crash and fell to the ground.
"Hahahaha! Bring Robin over here! And this lousy armor—I'm taking it to Professor Vegapunk and having him repair it for me. Then it'll belong to me!"
Spandam laughed in satisfaction, his expression wild and arrogant.
A CP9 member walked toward Robin.
The bombardment had kicked up clouds of dust.
He had no choice but to fan the air with his hand as he entered the dust, preparing to capture her.
Spandam and the others had waited outside for only a few seconds when a black mass flew out of the dust, slammed into the wall, and collapsed limply.
"Hahahaha, Kaku, when did you become as brutal as me? You don't show any mercy to women at all!"
Spandam burst into laughter. He assumed that the person who had just flown out was Robin, and that Kaku had thrown her outside.
But when everyone looked at the ground, they were shocked to discover that the person thrown out was actually Kaku!
What the hell?
Hadn't Kaku gone in to capture Robin? How had he ended up flying out himself?
Just then, the dust cleared. Robin was still lying on the ground with Seastone handcuffs on her, so it was impossible for her to have done it.
But everyone noticed that another figure had appeared in front of Robin.
"Damn it! Someone came to save her."
Spandam realized what had happened and immediately shouted at his subordinates, "I'll leave him to you. Take care of this nuisance for me!"
The man wearing a tall hat, with a pigeon perched on his shoulder, stared
