Guns N' Roses began the introduction: "The nominees for this year's Favorite Singer Award are Jiang Siming, Ariana Grande, Taylor, Troye, Nick Jonas, and Bieber."
Guns N' Roses introduced nine singers in succession, both male and female.
The Favorite Singer Award had no gender divisions, making it incredibly difficult to win.
"Who will take home this award, everyone? I'm sure you're all looking forward to finding out. Let's watch a dance performance for now, and then we'll announce the winner!"
After Jimmy finished speaking, he really did leave the stage with Guns N' Roses and Kardashian. A high-energy song-and-dance performance followed.
Everyone was both amused and exasperated. What perfect timing to keep them in suspense. This was even more outrageous than certain shameless authors stopping at a cliffhanger. Damn it.
(Ahem, that definitely wasn't Qing Jiu. Absolutely not.)
The hot dance performance was quite a sight, too. A large group of female dancers with slim waists and ample chests danced energetically onstage, and everyone watched with great interest.
A few minutes later, the dance ended, and the three hosts returned to the stage.
"I believe everyone is already impatient. So let's enjoy a piano performance next. Ahem, just kidding, just kidding. Now, let Kardashian announce the ultimate winner of tonight's first major award!"
After Jimmy finished speaking, Kardashian slowly announced, "The singer who has won this year's Grammy Award for Favorite Singer is Taylor Swift!"
"Oh!"
The entire venue erupted, and thunderous applause rang out.
Only Aili, seated on the other side, pouted in disappointment. She still hadn't surpassed Taylor.
