"Dad, where are we? A tropical rainforest? The Congo jungle? It doesn't look like either. Huh~ What kind of bug is this? It's so disgusting~"
Sheng Changyi was just as bewildered as Zhao Xiaoxiao.
This was her first time here too, and the unfamiliar surroundings made her instinctively hide in Jiang Siming's arms.
Sheng Changyi would have liked to find a warm chest to hide against as well, but he was the only one here.
"Here? We're not on Earth. Guess where we are," Jiang Siming said teasingly as he held Zhao Xiaoxiao.
"Not on Earth? Could we be on Mars? That's impossible. Mars has no life, and neither do the other planets. Don't tell me... we're not in the Solar System anymore?"
Zhao Xiaoxiao quickly figured out the general situation.
"That's right. We're on an Animal Planet in the Nuoma Galaxy," Jiang Siming explained.
"Holy crap!"
Zhao Xiaoxiao was utterly shocked, but then her expression became extremely excited.
"This is so thrilling! So thrilling! Dad, why didn't you tell me earlier? This is so sci-fi! One second we were on Earth, and the next we'd left the Solar System. Could anything be more sci-fi than this? This is awesome! So cool!"
Zhao Xiaoxiao jumped around excitedly. She seemed to have found a new paradise!
Sheng Changyi, standing nearby, looked at Jiang Siming and Zhao Xiaoxiao as if they were idiots.
"President Jiang, why bother putting on this act? You just want to scare me, don't you? Why not go all the way and create the underworld, then have the King of Hell and his judges put me on trial? I might actually believe you more then."
Sheng Changyi spoke with disdain.
Clearly, he didn't believe a single punctuation mark of it.
How could he believe such an absurd story?
