Jenna's flight arrived at Paris Charles Airport a little after seven in the evening. As soon as she got off the plane, Jiang Siming saw her haggard, grief-stricken face at the arrival gate.
The incident involving Sulli had hit her so hard that Lin Jin-na couldn't accept the reality of it.
The moment she saw Jiang Siming, Jenna was like a little bird that had finally found its home. She threw herself into his arms without hesitation.
"Oppa... sob..." Lin Jin-na cried like a child, and Jiang Siming felt a pang of heartache.
He gently soothed her fragrant back and said, "I know. This really is difficult to accept, but the dead cannot return. Please accept my condolences."
Because of Jenna's call, Jiang Siming had even looked Sulli up online. She had been at such a beautiful age and had such a lovely appearance. Her suicide truly made people feel sorry for her.
All Jiang Siming could say was that this was simply her fate—something he couldn't change.
If she had met him like Jenna had, perhaps this wouldn't have happened to her either. Unfortunately, all he could say was that fate had decided it.
The only other thing he could blame was how filthy and unbearable the Korean entertainment industry really was. There seemed to have been four incidents involving female stars committing suicide this year alone. It was truly frightening.
Fortunately, with Jiang Siming's comfort, Jenna's emotions soon stabilized considerably. Moreover, she hadn't set foot on Korean soil, so she felt far less oppressed in this new place.
Jiang Siming held her as they left the airport. Li Chunlan was waiting in the parking lot in a stretch limousine. The two of them got in, and the car started moving.
"Boss, are we going back to the hotel?"
