Poor Alexander had only been acting squad leader for a few days. Since Mo Qiong had found Chris so quickly, he had barely participated in the mission at all.
When he returned to take command, he made another decision that cost the squad points.
As a result, before Chris left, he chose to hand the position of squad leader over to Mo Qiong, who had been the best performer there.
Alexander did not care in the slightest. Being squad leader was a responsibility, and they were only a trainee squad.
True official squads were rare in the Blue White Society. Most members formed teams as pairs, while any squad with more than two members had to have at least a Beta-class leader. Most were Gamma-class.
That was still far too distant for them. For now, their goal was simply to become Official Members.
With Chris and the other veteran trainees leaving, the entire Darwin Squad took on a completely new look.
The most senior members left were Alexander and Shaka, followed by Mo Qiong, You Xin, and Yan Wei.
The ten-person squad was now down to five. There was no doubt that they needed reinforcements.
As it happened, another batch of trainees entered their third term in October. As squad leader, Mo Qiong went to select five new members to join them.
"Senior, you're amazing! It's only been three months, and you're already squad leader!" A short-haired woman as agile as a leopard approached Mo Qiong and said this.
"You are..." Mo Qiong asked.
"...My name is Hua Yin! Senior, you don't remember me? You even saved me!" the woman said with a smile.
Mo Qiong looked her over and naturally remembered her. This woman had retrieved her breasts, her skin had darkened slightly, and she had become more feral.
