Everyone on the Black Metal Flying Carpet kept calling out to Mo Qiong. They felt terribly uneasy without being able to see him.
But there were insects everywhere below. If the Black Metal had not been flying automatically, they would have been caught long ago.

The Flying Carpet faithfully carried everyone onward. It had already flown a kilometer, and they could see the Safe House shining like a lighthouse in the darkness.

"Clang!" The Flying Carpet, made of Best Metal, slammed straight into the Bone Spur and sliced through it without slowing down.
But while the Best Metal passed through, everyone riding on it was knocked off.

"Aaaaaah!" Some people vomited blood in midair. Others were uninjured, but still plummeted in panic.
The High School Student was horrified. He immediately grabbed the unconscious Izuki, and the two of them crashed onto the roof of a skyscraper together.
With the High School Student acting as a cushion, Izuki woke up with a cough after the impact. At least he had not died.
But others were not so lucky. Some fell straight to their deaths at the foot of the building. The earth and rocks rolled, and countless insects crawled out and devoured them all.
The people who landed on the rooftop immediately panicked at the sight below.
