In the jelly world's Heian-kyo, at Ye Sha's shrine.
A well had appeared on the mountain behind his shrine. It had been made by Sadako.
After escaping Sadako's clutches before, Ye Sha had crawled out of that very well.
At this moment, Ye Sha could only run toward the rear mountain with a mournful look on his face. It wasn't far—only a few hundred meters away.
Who could have known that halfway there, he would hear a tremendous explosion.
The rear mountain had exploded!
A pillar of light dozens of meters thick shot into the sky, directly breaking through the clouds. After a long while, it blasted the depths of the starry Vault of Heaven into ripples like a lake... The remaining detectors could still detect an ultra-high-energy reaction.
"An energy impact equivalent to a five-hundred-kiloton nuclear explosion." The researcher estimated its power.
However, this was clearly not an expansive explosion. The pillar's power was highly concentrated and shot straight into the sky, seemingly only to break through the seal at the well's mouth.
"Overwhelming all techniques with sheer force." Mo Qiong saw that Sadako's well had already been flattened. Part of the small mountain had vanished as well, leaving behind a crater dozens of meters wide.
The violent tremors had cracked the ground, causing the shrine and dozens of houses nearby to collapse.
And this was only the aftershock. If it had been an expansive explosion, Heian-kyo would have become Heian Crater.
The pillar of light gradually faded. In midair, an old man in a starry robe wore a look of disgust. His gloves emitted a white halo, and the five gems on them shone brightly.
Above his head floated three golden markers: three suns, three moons, and three stars.
No one knew what substance they were made of.
