"We missed feeding time again..."
For several days, carrying inexplicable knowledge and unable to stop thinking, Little cub kept falling asleep from exhaustion and missing its milk.
Going hungry one day and full the next had left it noticeably weaker than the other two cubs. Its mother could do nothing about it and seemed to have grown used to the cub's "natural" aversion to milk.
But Little cub was very unhappy. It wanted milk!
"Ugh, this is so annoying... Why do I know everything?"
"Why do I know about the Bachelor tree? That bald tree in Africa's tropical dry regions, whose leaves gradually degenerate or even disappear to reduce water evaporation, leaving its branches green so they can replace the leaves in photosynthesis..."
Little cub wore a blank expression, deeply shaken by its own knowledge.
As time passed, the more things it saw, smelled, and felt, the richer the knowledge inexplicably surging up inside it became.
If it thought about something, it could even learn more.
However, hunger forced it to want to abandon all that. Knowledge couldn't be eaten. It wanted milk!
"Lactation is extremely important for cheetahs. If this continues, I'll die!"
Little cub made this judgment with complete clarity, then decided to forcibly suppress its thoughts.
While its mother was away, it would neither look around nor think randomly. Instead, it would close its eyes, lie still, meditate on a patch of darkness, and wait for milk.
After two days of this, Little cub could finally control the knowledge that occasionally bubbled up.
When it didn't want it, the knowledge no longer appeared.
This delighted it. At last, it could drink milk normally.
However, milk was not available simply because it wanted to drink it.
Sometimes, even when Little cub stayed awake and waited for its mother
