The first part is finished. I'm taking three days off—two days to refine and expand the detailed outline, and one day to rest.
The biggest challenge in this arc is that there are too many players. There are dozens of high-level players alone.
After already finishing thirteen arcs and introducing more than two hundred characters, it's really giving me a headache trying to avoid repeating any of the characters who have already appeared.
One of the readers organized the character profiles everyone had provided earlier, summarized them, and revised them into references for more than ten characters. It was a huge help. Thank you!
To explain again, the reason this arc is divided into two parts is actually very simple.
There are too many characters involved, and the plot is fairly long. When I was working out the detailed outline for this arc and trying to plan ahead, my brain simply couldn't keep up.
So under these circumstances, I decided to divide it into upper and lower parts at key points. After finishing the outline for the first part, I will expand and refine the detailed outline for the second part based on it.
The second part will be about thirty chapters long, and there is a good chance I can finish writing it before November.
Oh, right. There was a plot hole in the last two or three chapters: I forgot to include a fanatic from the Eternal Life Cult. There were simply too many characters, and my brain crashed.
