I'm terribly sorry!
I wasn't able to complete the planned outline and detailed outline within the expected timeframe, so the update will be delayed.
It has been postponed from the originally scheduled July 10 to July 20.
The specific reasons are as follows:
First of all, the author hasn't gotten much rest during this period.
I didn't get my health checked as I said I would in the Volume 16 summary. Because my anxiety became even more severe after not writing, my schedule fell into chaos and I was constantly dazed, so I never made it to the hospital.
Fortunately, I started working on Volume 17 on June 15.
Then, on June 30, after working on it for fifteen days, I decided to completely scrap everything I had already prepared for Volume 17, including the character designs, the real-world plot, the game rules, and the game setting, and start over.
Volume 17 was originally planned as a large-scale high-fantasy world similar to the Lord of the Rings, with the real-world plot and the game-world plot tied together.
There were 67 high-level players, ten factional forces in total, entering the game in thirteen batches.
The game contained ten races and dozens of main and side quests.
It was extremely complicated and left me completely overwhelmed. I got stuck every day, shut myself indoors, and spent all day facing the computer in a state of anxiety. Forget coming up with exciting plotlines—even simply sorting out the story threads was extremely difficult.
I thought about it every day, and in the end, I reached this conclusion.
No matter how I designed it, readers probably wouldn't be satisfied. It wasn't what they wanted to read.
Based on readers' feedback, the problems included low immersion in the second half, a dislike of too much real-world
