1. First, let me talk about this volume. I don't think I managed to write it as well as I'd hoped.
Ever since my back started acting up, I've had trouble keeping the pacing under control.
A chapter that was originally supposed to be finished in several thousand words ended up becoming two or three shorter chapters because I simply couldn't finish it with my mental and physical condition.
The content hasn't changed much, but I always feel like the pacing has slowed down, lacking the smooth, exhilarating flow of writing everything in one go.
Sorry, but what's written can't be changed now. I can only keep working hard!
2. Volume 12 was originally planned to combine elements of the 'Backrooms' and 'Bullet Screen Werewolf' to create a game.
But because Volume 12 has a high proportion of martial combat, and the 'Backrooms' are somewhat similar to a rules-based horror story, it still ended up leaning toward martial combat in the later stages. So I decided to change it into a game with as much "talking and as little fighting as possible," to keep it from becoming tiresome with all the constant battles.
Designing the game in Volume 12 is extremely complicated, and the real-world storyline will only take around ten chapters. There's no way I can sort out the broad and detailed outlines before entering the game.
My back has been hurting badly these past few days, so I'm planning to rest for three to five days and focus specifically on sorting out the game. Once I've finished organizing it and had enough rest, I'll enter Volume 12. Sob, sob, sob—I hope you'll understand!
