A little after seven in the morning.
"It feels so great not having classes!" Dong Qingfeng hummed a tune, breakfast in hand and lighthearted cheer in his chest as he walked into the classroom.
The moment he entered, he saw Chen Qian studying.
Dong Qingfeng leaned against the edge of a desk. "Chen Qian, I didn't see you yesterday afternoon. Don't tell me you spent the whole time studying in the classroom?"

No.4 Middle School didn't require students to watch Sports Day from the school field, but aside from the seniors, students from nearly every other grade had gone over to watch.
Chen Qian looked up. "I dislike the words 'working hard' very much, because working hard implies suffering."
