In Chapter 515, titled "Difficulties," the Norton Family faces various challenges after capturing Molent City. Lorist, exhausted from the three-day battle, must now deal with the surrendered Great Swordsmen, Gold Swordsmen, and nobles from the Commercial Alliance. He orders them to be housed on a linked ship platform in Hidden Gold Bay, surrounded by armed warships to prevent any escape or rebellion. Meanwhile, Lorist also addresses the issue of the one hundred thousand prisoners from the inner city, housed in a POW camp in the fleet district. He provides them with minimal food but allows them to buy more at exorbitant prices in a tavern within the camp. Lorist also plans to send the surrendered crew and sailors of the Invincible Fleet to Shirovas Island, intending to force them to serve the Norton Family in exchange for their families' well-being. The chapter ends with Lorist learning about the insufficient grain reserves in the warehouse base outside the East Gate, which could lead to food shortages in Molent City within two weeks.
