As an Epoch Tomb, the Myriad Races Battlefield buried far too many bygone epochs.
Moreover, not every epoch would be interred within the Epoch Tomb. Only those exceptionally powerful epochs would ultimately converge there.
Within each epoch, only exceptionally powerful regions or special areas would be hidden within the Epoch Tomb.
Different epochs also had different tombs. And after endless years had passed, those powerful regions had become exceedingly ordinary. Other than being sturdy, they were almost devoid of danger.
Of course, almost devoid of danger did not mean completely without danger.
Purgatory Wasteland.
A wasteland burning with the fires of Hell.
This wasteland came from an exceptionally powerful epoch—the Hell Epoch.
It was one of the few epochs known to the myriad races of the Chaos Sea. It had become known primarily because cultivators had obtained Inheritances within the Purgatory Wasteland, allowing the deeds of the Hell Epoch to be known by present-day cultivators.
Endless hellfire burned across the wasteland. This was a Heaven for fire-aligned races such as the Fire Race, Purgatory Race, and Crimson Flame Race.
Especially for the Purgatory Race, this place was simply a supreme holy land. Upon entering the Purgatory Wasteland, even without actively cultivating, their strength would rapidly increase.
The Purgatory Race understood their own standing well. They could not compete for a place in the top ten of the Myriad Races Ranking, so after entering the Myriad Races Battlefield, they would head straight for the Purgatory Wasteland.
Since they could not contend for a top-ten ranking for their race, yet could obtain a top-hundred ranking without fighting, the Purgatory Race entered the Myriad Races Battlefield solely to enter the Purgatory Wasteland and
