Ch. 522Immortal Art

Wang Xian learned that the Shen Nong Ding would spend six months each year in Immortal Palace's territory, then chose the sect development path for the guild. Immortal Palace became Blue Star's first sect and received the Immortal Art cultivation technique, whose effects remained unknown.

  • Elder Long showed Wang Xian the Shen Nong Ding's attributes and agreed to place it in Immortal Palace's territory for six months each year.
  • Elder Long planned to return to Dragon Kingdom and hinted that the Hundred-Nation Alliance would not be spared.
  • Wang Xian told Nangong Wu about the planned break and brought Immortal Palace's members back to their territory.
  • Wang Xian and Nangong Wu chose to develop Immortal Palace as a sect rather than a nation.
  • A world announcement declared Immortal Palace Blue Star's first sect and awarded it the Immortal Art, which Wang Xian found had no listed attributes.

Ch. 523Era of Sects

Wang Xian discovered that the Immortal Art could fuse cultivation techniques, then learned that a wave of new sects had appeared across Blue Star and that some were capturing people. He flew to meet Elder Long and the others to discuss the growing chaos.

  • Wang Xian and Nangong Wu tested the Immortal Art by feeding it the Carefree Art and the Eight-Nine Arcane Arts, and its attributes began fusing.
  • Xuan Ming suggested finding more cultivation techniques to strengthen the Immortal Art, and Nangong Wu directed Wang Xian to check the Forum.
  • Wang Xian learned that countless factions had appeared across Blue Star, recruiting disciples and offering cultivation techniques, missions, and equipment.
  • Wang Xian saw reports that Evil Path and Demonic Path sects were capturing Dragon Country People and decided to consult Elder Long.
  • Wang Xian flew to the Imperial Capital and met Elder Long, Sword Twenty-Three, Qin Zheng, and others, who had been waiting for him.

Ch. 524Secrets of the Sect

Wang Xian explained that Level 5 guilds could become sects or dynasties and described how Immortal Palace accepted members of other guilds under a rank-based benefit system. The others learned they could join Immortal Palace without leaving their own guilds, but Wang Xian could not use his Grand Elder rank to raise their statuses.

  • Wang Xian explained that a Level 5 guild could become a sect or leave its country and become a dynasty.
  • Sword Twenty-Three joked that Qin Zheng might seek to form a dynasty, and Qin Zheng angrily affirmed his loyalty to Dragon Kingdom.
  • Wang Xian explained that people could join Immortal Palace while remaining members of their own guilds.
  • Wang Xian said outside guild members began as Labor Disciples and received benefits based on their sect rank, reaching full benefits as Core Disciples.
  • Qin Zheng asked whether Wang Xian could raise their ranks as a Grand Elder, and Wang Xian said he could not.

Ch. 525Sect Extermination Plan

Wang Xian explained the Immortal Palace’s ranks, the still-fusing Immortal Art, and the severe condition for leaving the sect. Elder Long then revealed that Dragon Kingdom had 67 Evil Sects, each guarded by an Epic BOSS, and the group discussed wiping them out.

  • Wang Xian explained that only he could be appointed Grand Elder and that the Immortal Art was still fusing the Carefree Art with the Eight-Nine Arcane Arts.
  • Sword Twenty-Three eagerly agreed to join the Immortal Palace, while Wang Xian warned that members of a Level 5 guild who left would have to survive his full-powered attack without Blood Lock, invincibility, or resurrection.
  • Elder Long shifted the discussion to the sects in Dragon Kingdom and reported that intelligence had identified 146 sects, including 67 Evil Sects.
  • Elder Long said the Evil Sects should be wiped out if possible and noted that each had an Epic BOSS guarding it.

Ch. 526Equipment Piled into Mountains

Elder Long proposed waiting for the righteous and evil sects to settle their dispute before acting against the Evil Sects. Wang Xian then gathered equipment from Immortal Palace and his allies to forge Mythical Grade Equipment, only to find five enormous mountains of equipment waiting for him.

  • Elder Long explained that the righteous and evil camps would hold a showdown in ten days, and Wang Xian agreed they should wait to target the Evil Sects.
  • Sword Twenty-Three reminded Wang Xian about the promised divine artifact, so Wang Xian took him to Immortal Palace.
  • Nangong Wu arranged for Immortal Palace's equipment stockpile to be brought to an open area, while Sword Twenty-Three and the others sent their spare equipment.
  • Wang Xian, Nangong Wu, Sword Twenty-Three, Qin Zheng, Shadow, and Long Aotian found the equipment piled into five mountains at least a hundred meters high.

Ch. 527Mythical Grade Equipment—Ink Sword

Wang Xian used the Heaven and Earth Furnace to forge a Mythical Grade longsword for Sword Twenty-Three, letting him choose its design and name. After the group fed the furnace a mountain of equipment, the forging progress reached its maximum, leaving Ink Sword ready to be born.

  • Nangong Wu and the other guild leaders began removing outdated equipment from the Guild Warehouse while Wang Xian brought out the Heaven and Earth Furnace.
  • Wang Xian had Sword Twenty-Three choose a black longsword engraved with an orchid and name it Ink Sword.
  • Wang Xian set the sword's level and quality, then ordered Sword Twenty-Three, Long Aotian, Shadow, and Qin Zheng to keep feeding equipment into the furnace.
  • The equipment in one mountain dwindled as the furnace's progress bar filled, and Wang Xian stopped the group once it reached its maximum.
  • Sword Twenty-Three collapsed from exhaustion while Long Aotian, Qin Zheng, and Shadow glared at him.

Ch. 528Heavenly Tribulation

Wang Xian and the others completed the Ink Sword in the Heaven and Earth Furnace, using blood and a vast amount of equipment to restore it after Wang Xian’s blood shattered it. As the sword’s progress reached completion, dark clouds gathered over the Immortal Palace and a massive bolt of lightning struck toward the furnace.

  • Sword Twenty-Three proposed sacrificing himself to the Ink Sword, but Wang Xian warned him against the danger.
  • Sword Twenty-Three and Long Aotian each contributed blood, causing the Ink Sword to absorb their blood and form dragon scales.
  • Wang Xian added his blood, and the Ink Sword shattered, cutting its progress bar down to about half.
  • Wang Xian ordered everyone to feed equipment into the furnace, and the Ink Sword reassembled as the progress bar filled.
  • Dark clouds gathered over the Immortal Palace, and a water-bucket-thick bolt of lightning descended toward the Heaven and Earth Furnace.

Ch. 529Terrifying Attributes

The Heaven and Earth Furnace exploded after Wang Xian's blood caused an unexpected reaction, but Ink Sword survived its final lightning trial and reached Mythical Grade (Superior). Wang Xian gave the sword to Sword Twenty-Three, who was stunned by its tremendous attributes.

  • Thunder Pool pulled everyone away from the Heaven and Earth Furnace just before it exploded, and Wang Xian was injured by the blast.
  • An ink-black longsword endured eight lightning strikes before a lightning dragon emerged from the clouds and attacked it.
  • After the storm cleared, the sword flew to Wang Xian and hummed plaintively until he stroked its blade.
  • Wang Xian inspected Ink Sword's attributes, found its attack power could exceed ten million, and handed it to Sword Twenty-Three.
  • Sword Twenty-Three and the others examined Ink Sword's attributes and cried out in shock.

Ch. 530Strength That Defied Imagination

Wang Xian showed off the Ink Sword and said the Heaven and Earth Furnace would need three days to recover before he could forge again. He then fought the Thunder Spirit, whose strength Wang Xian had once described as beyond imagination.

  • Sword Twenty-Three clutched the Ink Sword after the others passed it around, while Wang Xian told them the Heaven and Earth Furnace needed three days to recover.
  • Nangong Wu and Su Jin urged Wang Xian to avoid dangerous forging, but he concealed that the furnace’s explosion had cost him a million maximum HP and a thousand years of lifespan.
  • Wang Xian grabbed the Thunder Spirit from the Thunder Pool and punched it after hearing it speak in a northeastern dialect, and the two began fighting.
  • Nangong Wu explained to Sword Twenty-Three, Qin Zheng, Long Aotian, and Shadow that the Thunder Spirit could take Wang Xian’s appearance and had used it to fool Little Nami.
  • Nangong Wu said neither Wang Xian nor the Thunder Spirit was fighting at full strength, and recalled Wang Xian saying the Thunder Spirit’s power would defy everyone’s imagination.

Ch. 531Sword Twenty-Three Got Carried Away

Wang Xian finished fighting the Thunder Spirit, then accepted Sword Twenty-Three’s challenge after he grew overconfident with the Ink Sword. The duel showed that Sword Twenty-Three could barely hurt Wang Xian, while Wang Xian killed him with one punch before Cheng Yao’s skill restored him.

  • Wang Xian emerged from the Thunder Pool battered after his fight with the Thunder Spirit, and Little Nami flew after the Thunder Spirit in anger.
  • Sword Twenty-Three challenged Wang Xian to a spar, and Wang Xian had Cheng Yao protect him with Willow Dark Flower Bright.
  • Sword Twenty-Three stabbed Wang Xian with the Ink Sword, but his attack dealt only a little over five hundred thousand damage.
  • Wang Xian punched Sword Twenty-Three for more than fifty million damage, killing him despite his Blood Lock Skill.
  • Cheng Yao’s skill restored Sword Twenty-Three to full HP, and Wang Xian asked whether he wanted to fight again.

Ch. 532Extra Equipment—Identity Token

Wang Xian learned that heavenly tribulations were required to reach Mythical Grade, while Thunder Spirit admitted he could influence them and threatened to make Wang Xian’s future tribulation harder. After the equipment deliveries arrived, Wang Xian finished studying the Sect System and discovered that sect disciples could equip an additional Identity Token.

  • Sword Twenty-Three complained that Wang Xian’s basic attack had instantly killed him, and Wang Xian joked that it was Sword Twenty-Three’s weakness.
  • Nangong Wu asked Thunder Spirit why he had pulled everyone out of the heavenly tribulation’s range, and Thunder Spirit explained that tribulations tested those seeking Mythical Grade and granted rewards to survivors.
  • Thunder Spirit claimed he could increase the power of Wang Xian’s future tribulation, then hid in the Thunder Pool when Wang Xian tried to grab him.
  • Wang Xian reassured Nangong Wu that Thunder Spirit had pulled them away because he would not actually interfere with Wang Xian’s tribulation.
  • Sword Twenty-Three, Qin Zheng, Shadow, and Long Aotian’s subordinates delivered equipment, and Wang Xian explained that the Sect System let disciples equip an extra piece called an Identity Token.

Ch. 533God's Blood

Wang Xian used the repaired Heaven and Earth Furnace to forge Mythical equipment and begin making jade Identity Tokens for Immortal Palace. After he secretly added his own blood, the furnace shook violently, and the Thunder Spirit arrived and contributed its own God's Blood.

  • Wang Xian decided to use the Heaven and Earth Furnace to forge Identity Tokens once it had finished repairing itself, and Nangong Wu agreed on the condition that he stop adding his blood to equipment.
  • While the furnace repaired, the Thunder Spirit killed intruders who tried to steal Mythical equipment, following Little Nami's instructions at Wang Xian's request.
  • Wang Xian forged a greatsword, ring, and dagger for Long Aotian, Qin Zheng, and Shadow, while Sword Twenty-Three consoled himself over his sealed Ink Sword.
  • Wang Xian began forging jade Identity Tokens bearing the character "Immortal" and carvings of Dragon Kingdom's seven divine beasts, using the remaining Epic and Mythical equipment and blood from Nangong Wu, Hua Xiangrong, Feng Luoli, and Wang Xian's father.
  • Wang Xian secretly added his own blood, causing the Heaven and Earth Furnace to shake; the Thunder Spirit appeared, glared at him, and added its own God's Blood.

Ch. 534War of Righteousness and Evil

Wang Xian oversaw the creation of Immortal Palace’s powerful identity tokens, recruited several guild leaders, and obtained three Hidden Profession class-change items. Seven days later, he and his companions arrived at the ancient city where the War of Righteousness and Evil would take place and headed toward the neutral faction’s gathering in the central plaza.

  • The Thunder Spirit used its power to draw lightning from the confused heavenly tribulation, forging several thousand jade pendants before collapsing from exhaustion; Wang Xian returned it to the Thunder Pool to recover.
  • Nangong Wu showed Wang Xian the pendants’ powerful attributes, and Sword Twenty-Three, Qin Zheng, Long Aotian, and Shadow joined Immortal Palace as disciples.
  • Wang Xian visited the Azure Dragon City Lord’s mansion, learned that all seven Main City Lords were absent, and received class-change items for the White Tiger, Azure Dragon, and Black Tortoise professions from the Azure Dragon City Lord’s steward.
  • Seven days later, Wang Xian and fourteen companions arrived in the southwestern Dragon Kingdom for the War of Righteousness and Evil, where Gu Masters and poisonous Gu Worms were known to dwell.
  • Wang Xian’s group reached the ruined ancient city, saw the righteous and evil factions occupying opposite sides, and joined the neutral faction gathered in the central plaza.

Ch. 535Gu Master

Wang Xian learned why the righteous and evil sects were competing for disciples and planned to hunt the Holy Land geniuses, but the contest proved to be only a series of weak sparring matches. He then recognized Gelaikiao among a group of captured Dragon Kingdom people and attacked the sect members holding her.

  • Lu Haobo explained the sect ranks, the Holy Lands, and how sects competed to recruit talented disciples for rewards from higher-ranked sects.
  • Wang Xian and his group decided to hunt a fallen Spirit God Realm genius, but the contest began without one and featured only Legendary Grade disciples.
  • Su Jin spotted captured Dragon Kingdom people in the righteous sects' camp, and Wang Xian recognized Gelaikiao among them.
  • Wang Xian confronted the sect members, who planned to imprison the captives in the Demon Suppression Tower, and wounded their elder with the Heavenly Dragon Spear.
  • Wang Xian reached Gelaikiao and told her he would send her somewhere safe, and she agreed.

Ch. 536The Pitiful and the Hateful

Wang Xian rescued Gelaikiao and her clanspeople from Sect Master Du, who called them members of the Evil Path because they raised venomous insects. After Du attacked him, Wang Xian fought back to protect the Dragon Country People.

  • Wang Xian sent Gelaikiao and her clanspeople into the Ring of Immortality, then confronted the injured Sect Master Du about calling them members of the Evil Path.
  • A young man accused Wang Xian of making an enemy of the righteous sects, but Tao Yaoyao spoke up for him and challenged Du's claim.
  • Lu Haobo explained that Du hated people who raised venomous insects because attackers had once slaughtered most of his sect, including his Dao Companion and child.
  • Du admitted his hatred and ordered his disciples to kill Wang Xian and find the people he had rescued, while Lu Haobo slipped away.
  • Wang Xian caught Du's fist, declared he would kill anyone who threatened the Dragon Country People, and struck Du, sending him flying.

Ch. 537The Evil Path Seeks Death

Wang Xian fought off the righteous sects after revealing his control of the Flame Law and learning about the Demon Suppression Tower’s inheritance. When the Evil Path cultivators offered to help, he rejected them and attacked one of them instead.

  • Wang Xian killed several attackers and dispersed Du Xian’s flames with the Flame Law, shocking the gathered cultivators.
  • Lu Haobo questioned Wang Xian about the Flame Law, and Wang Xian confirmed he had used it.
  • Du Xian offered access to the Demon Suppression Tower to recruit the righteous sects against Wang Xian, and Lu Haobo explained that clearing it could grant an ancient expert’s Inheritance.
  • The righteous sects gathered against Wang Xian, but he condemned them for seeking the inheritance at the cost of his life.
  • Evil Path cultivators offered Wang Xian help, but he ordered them away and charged at one of them with the Heavenly Dragon Spear.

Ch. 538Nine Heavenly Books, Nine Holy Lands

Wang Xian defeated the Evil Path and righteous cultivators at the Demon Suppression Tower, then learned that the Nine Holy Lands had ordered sects to investigate him. He kept Tao Yaoyao nearby to ask for Myriad Flower Palace’s help cultivating Spiritual Plants, while he considered whether to attack the remaining sects.

  • Wang Xian killed Wei Ze and trapped the Evil Path cultivators with a forbidden artifact, while Sword Twenty-Three, Qin Zheng, Nangong Wu, Xuan Ming, and the others fought them.
  • Du Xian and Tao Yaoyao told Wang Xian that the Nine Holy Lands had ordered sects to gather information about him, and that they had already reported his whereabouts.
  • Wang Xian trapped and killed more than a hundred righteous cultivators but spared Du Xian because he needed him to open the Demon Suppression Tower.
  • Wang Xian stopped Tao Yaoyao from leaving and asked her to help cultivate the Immortal Peach Trees, and Su Jin appeared and mistook their conversation for something improper.
  • Nangong Wu and the others returned with loot, including a Mythical Grade halberd, and asked whether they should wipe out the remaining sects.
  • Tao Yaoyao urged Wang Xian not to kill the remaining sects, but he rejected her appeal against excessive slaughter.

Ch. 539I'll Solve Everything for You!

After the battle, Wang Xian spared the departing sect members and released Gelaikiao and her clan. He learned that Gelaikiao was destined to become a Saintess, promised to prevent it, and brought her into the Immortal Palace.

  • Wang Xian let the righteous and neutral sect members leave, then had his companions gather the spoils and move to a cleaner area.
  • Wang Xian released Gelaikiao and her clansmen, then took Gelaikiao aside and asked whether she wanted to become her clan's Saintess.
  • Wang Xian warned Gelaikiao that becoming the Saintess would harm her and promised to solve the problem, though he did not explain how he knew.
  • Wang Xian asked Nangong Wu to take Gelaikiao into the sect, and Nangong Wu agreed without asking why.
  • Wang Xian told Gelaikiao's clansmen that she was now a member of his Immortal Palace.

Ch. 540Uncooperative? Then Kill Him პირდაპირ!

Wang Xian took Gelaikiao from her clan and traveled to the Blazing Flame Sect to find the Demon Suppression Tower. After learning that opening it required arranging identical stone slabs correctly, he ordered the uncooperative Du Xian killed.

  • Wang Xian dismissed Gelaikiao's clansmen and left with her, while the elders decided to report him and insisted she still had to become the Saintess.
  • Wang Xian and his group reached the Blazing Flame Sect, where he ordered its members to leave and Sword Twenty-Three attacked those who remained.
  • Lu Haobo led Wang Xian to the Demon Suppression Tower, which was hidden among a pile of stone slabs that had to be arranged correctly to open it.
  • Wang Xian ordered Du Xian brought over to open the tower, then said to kill him when Lu Haobo explained that Du Xian would not cooperate.

Ch. 541Opening the Demon Suppression Tower

Wang Xian killed Du Xian and used Su Jin, Maple, and Little Nami to finally open the Demon Suppression Tower. After learning the tower’s trials could lead to an ancient expert’s inheritance while descending meant certain disappearance, Wang Xian prepared to enter and called out hidden enemies lurking nearby.

  • Wang Xian ignored Lu Haobo’s warning about losing the tower’s only keyholder and killed Du Xian with the Heavenly Dragon Spear.
  • Su Jin repeatedly tried laying the tower’s stone slabs, but she triggered its punishment mechanism; Cheng Yao’s skill saved her from a lethal lightning strike.
  • Maple and Little Nami arrived, and the three lucky companions laid the slabs together until Wang Xian placed the final one and brought the ninety-nine-floor Demon Suppression Tower into existence.
  • Lu Haobo warned Wang Xian’s group to choose the upward trials and never descend, since people sent below the tower had never returned.
  • Before entering the tower, Wang Xian shouted for hidden enemies to reveal themselves, and Xuan Ming said he could sense people concealed through spatial fluctuations.
