Wang Xian grew alarmed by the danger surrounding the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation and set out to bring it to an end quickly. After provoking Hongjun and the Celestial Demon Emperors with a Time-Space Projection, he returned to Tong Pass and began an assault on the Western Qi camp with Abyssal Monsters.

• Wang Xian told Nangong Wu that he feared more threats would make the tribulation harder to end, gave her a Space Imprint for summoning reinforcements, and left to check beyond the heavens.
• Hongjun and five Saints attacked Wang Xian alongside seven Celestial Demon Emperors, but his Blood Lock skill saved him, and he hid a Time-Space Projection inside the World Crystal Wall.
• Wang Xian taunted Hongjun and the First Celestial Demon Emperor from the wall, while Grandmaster of Heaven stopped the Seventh Celestial Demon Emperor from entering the Investiture of the Gods World.

• Tathagata tried to make Wang Xian abandon the Investiture of the Gods Tribulation, then trapped him and the Jie Sect disciples under Five Finger Mountain.
• Tathagata and several hooded Mysterious Men appeared in the cave, but Wang Xian refused their demand and later led everyone out through his Inner World.
• The Jie Sect disciples saw the Pure World White Lotuses, Merit Golden Lotus, and World-Ending Black Lotus in Wang Xian’s Inner World.

Wang Xian stopped Hongjun and the Saints from 'Journey to the West' from interfering with the 'Investiture of the Gods Tribulation,' then sought Empress Houtu’s help in sending them away. After entering the 'Journey to the West' world, he discovered that its Heavenly Dao wanted to destroy the world and saw Empress Houtu’s blood provoke a violent reaction from his Blood Sea.

• Wang Xian had ten Saints beat Primordial Lord of Heaven, then confronted Hongjun, Taishang Laozi, Daoist Jieyin, and Daoist Zhunti as they revealed themselves.

• The group discovered a world far larger than any they had seen, and Hongjun and the Saints recognized its aura as that of the Primordial World.

• Wang Xian, Elder Long, and the Light Pope united Blue Star's remaining nations under Dragon Kingdom, granting Wang Xian the Star Lord title and its benefits to Blue Star's players.
• Wang Xian led Nangong Wu, Su Jin, and their Mythical Grade allies in slaughtering Immortal Clan branches for a month, but his Immortal Physique remained at Minor Completion.
• Wang Xian's group reached the Immortal Clan's last stronghold, where Sword Twenty-Three broke through a barrier and was trapped and imprinted with silver runes.

Sword Twenty-Three’s physical condition improved dramatically, but he remained unconscious because his soul still needed treatment.

• Wang Xian sealed Sword Twenty-Three’s Immortal Script with Space Power and learned from the Sacred Ice Wolf that Immortal Script came from Immortal Grade experts and could turn its host into a puppet.
• Wang Xian let an Immortal Script enter his body, where it multiplied and tried to consume his soul; the Soul Tower protected him, and he captured the script in his Sea of Consciousness.

• Wang Xian used the Soul Tower to restore Sword Twenty-Three’s soul, then realized the Immortal Scripts fused into Sword Twenty-Three’s bones had raised his attributes by over forty million.
• Wang Xian forged Su Jin in the Heaven and Earth Furnace after separating her soul, but she gained only around ten million attributes; he then used the same method on Nangong Wu, Cheng Yao, Qin Zheng, Long Aotian, Xuan Ming, and the others.
• Sword Twenty-Three and Long Aotian challenged Wang Xian after gaining their new attributes, but Wang Xian beat them both.

After enduring the process himself, Wang Xian discovered that the Immortal Scripts in their bodies might not have been completely refined.

• Wang Xian led the group toward the World Phantom, but they stopped when he sensed danger and retreated from the Supreme Experts’ attacks.
• The Lord of the Immortal Domain used Moon Spirit to strike Wang Xian’s group with moonlight, knocking everyone unconscious except Wang Xian, who brought them back to the Immortal Realm.
• Wang Xian put his companions through the Heaven and Earth Furnace and Soul Tower, and they awakened with more than forty million added to all attributes.

• Sword Twenty-Three volunteered to undergo Wang Xian’s painful forging, then chose Long Aotian as the next person to be forged; the process continued through the Immortal Palace executives.

• Kong Xuan explained why he wanted Wang Xian as his master, and Wang Xian accepted him and gave him the Immortal Art and Innate Stones.
• Kong Xuan cultivated outside Chaoge City and faced a heavenly tribulation while the six great Saints watched.

Primordial Lord of Heaven, Daoist Jieyin, and Daoist Zhunti attacked Kong Xuan, but Grandmaster of Heaven intervened and trapped Primordial Lord of Heaven in the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation over their feud about the Investiture of the Gods List. After four Saints broke the formation, Grandmaster of Heaven laughed off Primordial Lord of Heaven’s claim that he had lost and hinted that he still had another trump card.

• Primordial Lord of Heaven struck Kong Xuan with the Pangu Banner while Daoist Jieyin and Daoist Zhunti restrained him, but Kong Xuan wounded Zhunti and was then left near death by another blow from Primordial Lord of Heaven.
• Grandmaster of Heaven blocked Primordial Lord of Heaven’s attack on Kong Xuan, confronted him over the Jie Sect disciples on the Investiture of the Gods List, and trapped him in the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation.
• Grandmaster of Heaven demanded that Primordial Lord of Heaven seal himself in Jade Void Palace for a thousand years, but Primordial Lord of Heaven refused and Taishang Laojun, Daoist Jieyin, and Daoist Zhunti joined him in trying to break the formation.
• Wang Xian told Empress Nuwa that four Saints were inside the formation, and after more than ten days the Immortal Slaying Sword Formation collapsed with all five Saints appearing, battered to varying degrees.

Grandmaster of Heaven activated the Myriad Immortals Formation, and the ensuing battle exposed Dao Ancestor Hongjun as an enemy who tried to force dangerous pills on Taishang Laojun and Primordial Lord of Heaven. After the Saints turned against Hongjun and Empress Nuwa blocked his escape, Grandmaster of Heaven called on Wang Xian to help defeat him.

• Grandmaster of Heaven raised the Myriad Immortals Formation, while Empress Nuwa used the Mountain and River Diagram to protect the Humans as the Primordial World began to collapse.
• Dao Ancestor Hongjun appeared, gave Grandmaster of Heaven a black pill and offered Taishang Laojun and Primordial Lord of Heaven red pills; Taishang Laojun recognized the danger and refused them.
• Grandmaster of Heaven attacked Hongjun and revealed that the red pills were poison, then joined Taishang Laojun and Primordial Lord of Heaven in fighting him.

When a surviving Heavenly Dao soul entered his Sea of Consciousness and tried to take it over, it encountered the Pitch-Black Giant Octopus and was driven back by unseen horrors.

• Wang Xian sent Thunder Spirit into the merged tribulation clouds, and Thunder Spirit swallowed the lightning but still could not reach the Emperor Realm.
• The Eye of the Heavenly Dao attacked Wang Xian, so Geng Rou, the Emperor Realm experts, and the Six Saints joined the assault while Wang Xian broke the Eye's Space Law with a Spatial Arrow.
• Wang Xian collected the Eye's falling blood and fed it to the Blood Sea before the attackers shattered the Eye of the Heavenly Dao.

Wang Xian collected the Twelve-grade Merit Golden Lotus and brought Empress Nuwa and Empress Houtu to Blue Star. There, the two Empresses sensed a Great Dao beyond their own world, while Wang Xian remained unaware of it.

• The Pitch-Black Giant Octopus used the transparent phantom as bait for the monsters in Wang Xian's Sea of Consciousness and planned to summon its Evil God clansmen.
• Empress Nuwa told the Five Saints that Heavenly Mandate contained hundreds of Emperor Realm experts and that Yaochi Holy Land's Holy Lord could shatter an Emperor Artifact with bare hands.
• Wang Xian sent the fifty Emperor Realm experts back to his Inner World and exchanged gifts with Daoist Jieyin for the Twelve-grade Merit Golden Lotus.

After Yaochi emerged from seclusion, Wang Xian reunited with her, and the pair joined the festivities that night.

• Empress Nuwa asked why Wang Xian remained in the mortal realm, and he explained that his tribulation would manifest as Forbidden Existences whose powers he feared.
• Wang Xian described the cultivation realms and his plan to recreate the Creation Green Lotus as a way to survive his tribulation.
