Daigo ultimately could not answer Megumi Iruma's question. In fact, he wanted to know the answer more than anyone else. Megumi did not press him and ultimately chose to trust him.

"Officer Daigo, if you learn their identities, please be sure to tell me. Those two Ultramen are different from Ultraman Tiga. We don't know what their attitude toward humanity is—whether they stand with us or have some other objective..."

Daigo spent the entire afternoon in a daze. After clocking out, he changed into casual clothes, left the TPC Headquarters, and wandered aimlessly beneath the city's nightscape. His mind was in turmoil. Before leaving work, he had turned down Rena's invitation to see a movie. As he recalled the events of the day, he desperately wanted to find someone who knew the answers and could clear up his confusion.

Without realizing it, Daigo arrived at a park. Since it was nighttime, there were few people around. He was the only one on the deserted path.

"Who exactly are they... those two Ultramen... Could they also be Giants of Light revived from thirty million years ago?" With both hands in his pockets, Daigo lowered his head and walked forward. Suddenly, two shadows appeared on the ground, blocking his path. He looked up and saw two young men about his age.

Those two young men were none other than Zero and Cosmos.

As everyone knew, Ultramen operated on Earth in gigantic form, but due to budget shortages, they could not stay on screen for long and could usually only maintain that form for around three minutes. Therefore, when they were not fighting or in some other special situation, Ultramen would take human form so they could remain on Earth for extended periods.

Zero and Cosmos were currently in their Human Forms. Because
