Above the South Pacific, dark, murky clouds hung as rigid as Iron Body, blotting out the sky as if they meant to swallow the entire world.

The four surging energies finally broke past the boundary of equilibrium. The surrounding space erupted and collapsed, while streaks of darting lightning serpents were swallowed by black fissures, vanishing into nothingness without even a flash.

Gatanothor steadily poured out Dark Energy. Its enormous size and body structure made it somewhat inferior in mobility and close-range attacks; that was its weakness. But correspondingly, its massive body was destined to store far more energy. Moreover, the authority of the Ruler of Darkness had granted it the ability to command darkness, so its Dark Energy would never run dry.
