The saying that going dark tripled one's strength was absolutely true. In her Giant of Light form, Ultraman Rena had only been able to get strung up and whipped by Camilla. But after becoming a Dark Giant of the same attribute, her Power Level surged severalfold.

The Spark Lens Duke had created was modeled after Camilla's transformation device, the Camilla Spark. Put simply, it was a transformation device designed specifically for Dark Giants.
