A-rank Valkyrie Hua accepted the dangerous mission of subjugating the Emperor-class Honkai Beast designated Ganesha (Ganesha).

Although Theresa was worried when she heard the news, she could only trust Himeko's judgment and Hua's own. St. Freya Academy was indeed an innocent product of Theresa's overindulgence.

But when it came to A-rank Valkyries who had already grown capable of standing on their own, Theresa would not interfere with their choices or paths.

Everyone had to take responsibility for their own choices. Only by understanding the meaning of responsibility and accountability could one become a qualified adult. The same applied to the maturity of Valkyries.

And Hua was undoubtedly the student she trusted most in this regard at St. Freya Academy.

The man before Theresa laughed loudly. He was an arrogant man who gave off a frivolous air. Even though he claimed to be the leader of Anti-Entropy, his manner made it difficult for Theresa to believe that he was the legendary First Herrscher.

Yet during their earlier probing exchange, his ability to manipulate gravity had undeniably been real.

But if that was the full extent of his power, Theresa could almost be certain that his identity was fabricated.

The so-called leader of Anti-Entropy, the First Herrscher, could never be such a simple character.

"Oh my, Cocolia asked me to take the Third Herrscher away, but I didn't expect to run into a former S-rank Valkyrie of Schicksal. How interesting."

The man spoke with a smile. His words showed none of the respect due to the S-rank Valkyrie before him. Instead, he looked as though he had stumbled across something amusing.

"The Third Herrscher? The large-scale Honkai outbreak in Changkong City was the work of that old vixen Cocolia, wasn't it?" she asked tentatively.

This was not a naturally occurring Honkai outbreak. From the information revealed in his words, Theresa understood that much.

At first, she had two hypotheses. The first possibility was that the supposed First Herrscher before her had triggered the Honkai Energy outbreak on his own. The second was that Changkong City itself already had a Herrscher.

Now, it seemed possible that the Honkai outbreak in Changkong City had been Cocolia's scheme. Taking it a step further, the Herrscher reaction detected by headquarters earlier might itself have been an experimental subject brought forth by Cocolia.

Otherwise, how could there be such a coincidence?

If her guess was correct, then Cocolia had conducted a large-scale artificial Honkai experiment using Changkong City and its population of more than 2.3 million people.

Its purpose was the Third Herrscher that Welt had mentioned.

Crazy. Crazy. Crazy. Even if it was to create a way to oppose the Honkai, Theresa could never accept such demonic conduct.

The existence of Valkyries was meant to protect the beauty of the world.

As a former S-rank Valkyrie, Theresa's heart had already been consumed by rage and agitation.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, you can go ask Cocolia yourself, my dear Ms. Theresa." An unpleasant smile appeared on the man's face.

He wasn't going to answer directly?

Theresa's eyes were as cold as a frozen lake in a Russian winter.

Changkong City was part of the Far East Branch. Compared with Valkyries from Schicksal's other branches, the Valkyries of St. Freya Academy were already quite fortunate. But to protect this hard-won happiness, they had paid an equally enormous price.

And the peace they had worked so hard to protect might well have been destroyed single-handedly by that woman.

Killing intent. Pure killing intent was born in Theresa's heart.

This was different from her previous attitude toward Anti-Entropy. It wasn't merely a difference in positions. In the Theresa of the past, the people of Anti-Entropy had even seemed far more humane than those of Schicksal.

Although they conducted a small number of necessary human experiments, the weapons they used in battle had always been mechs, rather than Valkyries who exhausted their lives to fight.

But Cocolia's actions had thoroughly enraged her.

Theresa was extremely protective of her own. That was clear from the way she treated the Valkyries of St. Freya Academy.

The moment she thought of the price the Valkyries would have to pay to drive the Honkai out of the city, her anger began to burn fiercely.

"Theresa Apocalypse, commander of Schicksal's Far East Branch, headmaster of St. Freya Academy, head of the Apocalypse family, and Schicksal's former S-rank Valkyrie. It's only been a few hours since this Honkai outbreak began. You should be in a meeting at the Far East Branch right now, so how did you end up here?"

After perfunctorily responding to Theresa's question, the man turned the question back on her.

"What kind of joke is that? My lovely students are all fighting. Some of them might even die because of your experiment. You expect me to sit leisurely at the branch and hold meetings while filing reports with headquarters?"

Thinking of Himeko, who might at any moment burn through her lifespan while fighting a Herrscher; the Valkyries risking death to fight Honkai Beasts; and Hua facing an Emperor-class Honkai Beast alone, Theresa's face turned icy.

Boom! Thunder illuminated the entire city. The dense Honkai Energy raged like a storm at sea, and the energy spilling out surged like waves. For a moment, the whole world seemed to sink into a tremendous roar.

"Headmaster Theresa, the Hyperion has officially engaged the Herrscher. Major Himeko has connected six fusion reactors aboard the ship to power the Nexus System, preparing to... engage... the Herrscher... in... battle."

A Herrscher.

The miniature communicator in her ear informed her of what had happened, but the Third Herrscher's power had clearly begun interfering with the city's communications signals.

You really are reckless, Himeko.

But I can't let you keep treating your own body so carelessly.

The battle ahead had to be ended quickly.

"I came here to smash this Honkai outbreak to pieces. I'll start with you, bastard!" the girl said indifferently.

Schicksal's former S-rank Valkyrie, Theresa Apocalypse, swung the Eleventh Divine Key.
