Background & History
Mu Ningxue was recognized in Bo City as an exceptional young Ice Mage. Although she should have been attending the same school year as Li Xingze, her talent allowed her to advance to university early. She possessed an unspecified Innate Talent and became famous for mastering Ice Spread in only eight months. 4
She and Li Xingze knew each other from childhood, when he repeatedly entered the Mu Family estate and spent time with her. In public, she maintained a cold and detached demeanor, but she visibly blushed when she noticed him watching her at the Tianlan High School annual assessment. 4
During the exchange with Imperial Capital Academy, Mu Ningxue fought Li Xingze despite understanding that she was outmatched. She used Ice Chains against him and refused to simply concede; Li Xingze deliberately withheld his Goldflame Dragon Lion to avoid injuring her. 51 Afterward, she asked whether he had killed Mu Yuang, a confirmed Black Vatican member, and sincerely thanked him after he confirmed it. 52
Mu Ningxue later joined the Huaxia National Team. Her position was threatened by hostility from Mu Tingying and Nan Rongni, who coveted the Ice Crystal Bow and believed she lacked sufficient backing. Li Xingze intervened against them after learning of the situation. 171 In the World School Tournament's opening match, she and Mu Nujiao established Huaxia as a double-Domain lineup, with Mu Ningxue representing its Ice Domain. 175
After the tournament, Li Xingze helped the displaced Mu Family establish a new base and entrusted Mu Ningxue with managing Tianxing City. She accepted the responsibility and treated the city as her own home rather than merely Li Xingze's possession. 210 275
She traveled to Tianshan with Li Xingze to study under Qin Yuer. Li Xingze's artifact cleared the dangerous cold that had afflicted Mu Ningxue since she was twelve, while Qin Yuer became her Ice Magic mentor. 219 Under Qin Yuer's guidance and with extensive cultivation resources, Mu Ningxue rose from the Super level to Forbidden Curse. 290 355 374
During the Ocean God Clan conflict, she joined Qin Yuer against the Lesser Evil Dragon. Using the Dust-Extreme Ice Bow and Other-Space Frost, she broke the dragon's defenses and ultimately defeated it with a single arrow. 387 388
Appearance
Mu Ningxue is a tall, elegant woman with snow-white skin, silver-white hair, and icy blue, gem-like eyes. Her beauty is frequently likened to snow, ice, and a solitary snow lotus, matching her naturally cold presence. 4 218
- Long silver-white hair, often described as cascading like snow or a waterfall. 4 198
- Icy eyes and an aloof expression that rarely reveals her emotions. 4 51
- A cool physical presence associated with her Ice Element and former constitutional condition. 198 219
- Her appearance and ice aura were noted to resemble Qin Yuer's closely enough that they could be mistaken for sisters at a glance. 151 219
Personality
Mu Ningxue is composed, reserved, and difficult to provoke into openly displaying emotion. Even when facing Li Xingze's overwhelming strength, she chose to fight rather than surrender, demonstrating both pride and resolve. 51
Her cool exterior conceals deep loyalty and vulnerability. She accepted Li Xingze's help only gradually, particularly after being abandoned by the Mu Clan and pressured by threats surrounding the Ice Crystal Bow. 171 198 Once she accepted responsibility for Tianxing City, she showed a practical and conscientious side, personally handling major business matters rather than delegating them. 275
She is also selfless in dangerous situations. When the National Team needed bait to draw out an evil spirit, Mu Ningxue volunteered herself without hesitation. 130
