The Haunted Manor project was an original card game similar to Werewolf Kill.

Two teams and the ghosts inside the Haunted Manor played an eight-person game of Night of the Malevolent Kill. Before each game began, everyone had to draw an identity card and play the corresponding role to complete the game.

The eight identities consisted of three civilians, one evil spirit, one priest, two believers, and one heretic.

This was not an ordinary tabletop game, but an open-world game that used the entire manor as its setting.

After receiving their cards, each player would have half an hour to prepare.

Without knowing the identities of the others, they could hide in different parts of the manor. Special items corresponding to each role were also hidden throughout the manor, helping the players win the game.

Special Rules:

1. No abilities could be used during the game.

2. Once two people encountered each other—that is, spotted each other within a distance of five meters—they had to show each other their identity cards.

3. Under normal circumstances, encountering the evil spirit would result in immediate death.

Civilians could only run away. Their sole obtainable item was the "bell." Once the person holding the evil spirit card came within twenty meters, the bell would ring softly.

The evil spirit's sole obtainable item was the "Ghost Lantern." It pointed toward the nearest person for a fixed duration.

The priest's sole obtainable item was the "holy relic." When a priest possessing the holy relic encountered the evil spirit, the priest would kill the evil spirit outright, allowing the civilians and believers to win. Note: The "holy relic" would only respawn ten minutes after the game began, making it extremely difficult to obtain.

The believers' duty was to assist the priest. Their sole obtainable item was
