Without even looking up, Gao Gong sensed a familiar magnetic field. It was like a vast ocean, or surging vapor enveloping a planet. Such an overpowering biological aura was the polar opposite of the lady beside him.
"You got here fast."
The newcomer was an old acquaintance: the former director of the Anti-Smuggling Bureau, Centaurus, accompanied by the diplomatic representative, Lady Lulu.
"Things were urgent. I had no choice but to come."
Centaurus sat down across from Gao Gong with imposing ease and sized him up from head to toe. Suddenly, he let out a faint sound of surprise.
"It hasn't been that long since we last met, but you seem to have grown much stronger."
A flash of divine light flickered in Centaurus's eyes. Terrifying telekinetic force erupted like lightning and thunder, as though the entire void were about to be destroyed beneath its violent pressure.
Yet Gao Gong merely raised his head slightly. In the next moment, the formless, intangible mental force seemed to have encountered its natural nemesis and melted away like snow.
A strange gleam flashed through Lady Lulu's eyes.
As a monster with his 'consciousness' attribute maxed out, he had never developed 'telekinesis,' the unique combat unit of the Mierta people. But in terms of brain-region development alone, he was no weaker than any Mierta high-ranking official.
Moreover, although the superpower known as 'telekinesis' was formidable, its offensive power would be forcibly canceled against an opponent with equally powerful 'consciousness.' Even if the 'Star Armor Legion' were deployed, it would be easy for the opponent to seize control.
