Turwin walked through a long metal passage. It looked ancient and covered in rust, but not because it had been built long ago. Rather, one end was anchored in the spatial dimension and the other in the energy dimension. Large-scale interactions between space and energy could produce "coupling reactions," the most typical example being a "black hole."
This metal passage, however, was not being used to "create black holes." Instead, it relied on this reaction to create a superluminal passage.
This ancient metal passage was also a type of "superluminal passage." Compared with the "interstellar expressway," which required light-speed spacecraft to use, its greatest advantage was that it could transport individuals, allowing for individual decapitation tactics.
That was right. Whenever the Gallen developed a new technology, the first thing they thought of was its military application.
