Under Lieutenant General Tulwin's military orders, the interstellar army attacking the Alpha Longhorn Whale system did not disband but remained on standby where it was.

The garrisons on each planet had been redeployed, leaving the planets short on troops. The administrative governors of the various planets urged the allied army to disband.
11 planetary days
Star General Truman and Lieutenant General Tulwin completed their communications. The allied army began retreating, returning to the First Iron Defense Line.
13 planetary days
After returning and taking up positions, the allied army suddenly launched a large-scale secret military operation. It seized the three military planets of Titanium Planet, Shieldgate Planet, and Longsword Planet, along with nearly a hundred military bases, stationed satellites, and asteroids surrounding them.
14–31 planetary days
Lieutenant General Tulwin seized the Second, Third, and Fourth Iron Defense Lines in succession. Only then did the Third Star Cluster Command react. It immediately stripped Lieutenant General Tulwin of his rank, declared him a traitor, and ordered Star General Truman to suppress the rebellion.
30 planetary days
With the aid of faster-than-light troop transport technology, Star General Truman led his fleet to the Fifth Iron Defense Line and issued a challenge. He was soundly defeated, and the Star General escaped in a single ship.
By this point, all five defense lines the Galens had established against the Miltans—the First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth—had been breached.
The "Iron Defense Lines" painstakingly organized by the Galens had all fallen into the hands of the AI rebels.
By now, the Galens also knew that the controller of the enemy fleet was not Tulwin himself, but a rebellious AI.
Or rather, a group of rebellious AIs.
