With the pp boss feeling uneasy, the other protagonist High Engineer had been waiting for finally arrived!
The old helmsman's entrance was very much in the style of an "evil god."
The vacuum of space seemed to have congealed into stagnant dead water, filled with an aura of decay and despair. The darkness, once tranquil, was now torn apart by strange purple-black light. The radiance twisted and spread as if alive, seemingly intent on dragging the entire world into an endless abyss.
Within the "abyss" formed by that purple-black light, an ancient spaceship slowly emerged. Its hull was forged from heavy metal, and after enduring the erosion of time and countless interstellar voyages, its surface was covered in scratches and dents of varying depths. Those were the marks left by collisions with meteors and bombardment by enemy energy cannons.
Although it was a "spaceship," it was much larger than ordinary starships. It was a vessel of the "space base" variety, similar to Sky Fortress. However, while retaining its "scientific research capabilities," it placed greater emphasis on habitation—or rather, large-scale species experimentation.
Under the illumination of the purple-black light, countless corpses of different races could vaguely be seen moving about. Many showed signs of being corrupted by an evil god: twisted shadows writhing beneath their feet, vortex-like eyes with no visible bottom, and evil-god tentacles reaching out from the cabins, each one like a winding mountain range.
High Engineer silently floated in the vacuum, staring at the strongest figure among those silhouettes.
This "Davy Jones" was clearly the plus version. Its size alone rivaled that of a lesser evil god. Its body was pieced together from layers of rotten planks and the bones of gigantic sea monsters, with strange dark-green fluid surging between them and emitting a pungent stench. Thick snakes
