Little J naturally hadn't been dawdling in outer space on purpose.
Most of his attention was still focused on waiting for his supernatural ability to activate.
Before they came, Boss G had said that there were two main problems with poaching people from the Cyber Test Site this time: how to poach them in front of the test site's owner, and how to get them away before the Ascended Civilization behind it discovered what was happening.
Because once they provoked the Ascended Civilization behind the Cyber Test Site, even someone as powerful as Boss G would be unable to withstand it.
But according to Boss G, as long as they acted quickly enough this time, the odds of something going wrong weren't particularly high.
First, many of the Cyber Test Site's experimental subjects weren't players, so as long as they took the players away discreetly, the impact wouldn't be that great.
Second, in the eyes of the Ascended Civilization, a "Cyber Test Site" was a fairly dangerous project. Some more unorthodox advanced civilizations had even created tens of thousands of such "Cyber Test Sites," and quite a few of them could spontaneously explode for all sorts of reasons.
So once a problem arose, it was better to blow up the entire planet than to expose the truth—or expose too much of it.
For example, one player had a wild idea and decided to go all in, disguise it as an "interstellar disaster," blow up the Cyber Test Site directly, and then take all the players away after they revived.
That operation was truly... simple and brutal.
Still, if the person in charge of that Cyber Test Site project arrived slowly enough, it might actually work.
But Little J definitely wouldn't do that.
His brain was meant to be used, not
