Main Universe, Celestial God Constellation Galaxy Cluster, near Route No. 1 of the Ascension Whip
Ripples suddenly appeared throughout spacetime, with auroras occasionally flickering within them.
No one knew how much time had passed when, accompanied by a pale bolt of lightning that pierced the chaos, Gao Gong's battered figure shot out.
"Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey! The spacetime waves were too damn fierce. I almost couldn't get out!"
Gao Gong turned his head and discovered that the Pseudo-Stargate had been split in two. Above the heap of floating mechanical junk, the "spacetime lightning" had not dissipated. Instead, it was like solidified amber, embedded in midair.
Gao Gong stared at it for a moment, then shook his head.
"A construct condensed from spacetime energy, a standard cosmic-disaster energy. It's incredibly difficult to erase. Director Du's megastructure might be able to do it, but my divine system probably can't."
After all, megastructures were "rule modifiers," while the divine system focused on evolution. They were not the same system, so their areas of expertise naturally differed.
"This kind of spacetime lightning probably won't dissipate in the main universe without tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands, of years."
"During that time, if an ascended civilization finds the coordinates of this lightning and analyzes it, it'll obtain the parallel-universe coordinates of this 'Origin Universe.'"
Most parallel universes interacted with the main universe in this way.
A cosmic disaster would leave energy remnants from a parallel universe in the main universe, where a civilization capable of developing spacetime technology would eventually find them by accident.
There was no way around it.
Fortunately, Gao Gong had already secured the initiative. Once he ascended, even if another ascended civilization found this parallel universe, they could only coexist peacefully.
And the resources of a single parallel universe were
