"Perhaps he is, perhaps he isn't," someone replied cryptically.
The High-Level Engineer's identity wasn't hard to investigate. After all, players had never had much awareness of keeping secrets.
The problem was that the High-Level Engineer's identities were varied: cybernetic doctor, wasteland hunter, corporate tycoon, and now the Cybertron General.
He had basically done everything.
According to the Supreme Mechanical Cult, he was more inclined to believe the "Cybertron General" theory. This Mr. G was very likely a virtual avatar of the planetary mainframe, carrying "antivirus software" into Mechcrack Planet to serve as the guide for the main quest and save the planet.
This theory had quite a following, at least among the mechanical-stream players.
'Lolita' also strongly believed in this theory, though her reason differed from the others'.
"What are those mechanical weapons on the General that come with 'initial formatting'?"

"You mean these?"
Without moving his body, the High-Level Engineer's fingers, palms, forearms, upper arms, and spine all began mechanically transforming. In an instant, five murderous constructs took shape.
Though they were only Tier Two, constructs themselves had special advantages against carbon-based life. An ordinary Tier Two life-form would probably be scared unconscious on the spot. Even a Tier Two carbon-based warrior would feel as if thorns were pricking their backs, leaving them intensely uncomfortable. Even carbon-based fusion would have its failure rate increased by thirty percent.
Yet when Lolita saw these five carbon-based killing machines, a trace of a smile suddenly appeared on her originally expressionless little face. She gently waved, and the five weapons that killed without blinking affectionately circled around her, seeming even more intimate with her than with the High-Level Engineer.
"Why is that?"
