• Cheng Han controlled a Giant Spider with a spear projection, causing it to attack a worm-shaped Divine Worm and raising his kill count to eight.
• Cheng Han killed a Unicorn Toad with the Minute Hand, then used Gravity Lines and spear strikes to bring his consecutive kills to twelve as Divine Worms retreated.
• Cheng Han sensed the Insect Mother approaching and summoned a hundred-thousand-meter Divine Banyan Projection to empower the Minute Wither Bloom Spear.

Xing Peng and trillions of fallen soldiers returned as Heroic Spirits to lead a final assault against the Calamity Insect Swarm, burning away their souls to wield the Divine Banyan’s power. As Xing Peng destroyed countless insects before dying in battle, Cheng Han gained an insight into Law.

• Xing Peng realized that he and his former subordinates had become Heroic Spirits in the Divine Banyan’s Heroic Spirit Space, and he led them into battle.
• Trillions of Heroic Spirits appeared across the Sky Sphere Battlefield and charged into the darkness to attack the Calamity Insect Swarm.
• Cheng Han understood that the Heroic Spirits were burning their souls to guide the Divine Banyan’s power, and he experienced an insight into Law.
• Xing Peng destroyed many fleeing Insect Nests and Calamity Worms with two saber strikes, then spent his remaining soul power attacking a Divine Worm.
• Xing Peng died longing for his home, while the other Heroic Spirits overwhelmed the Divine Worm and Cheng Han silently wished him peace.

Cheng Han fought alongside the Heroic Spirit Warriors as they devastated the Calamity Worm swarm, then witnessed the God Emperors kill the Eighth Calamity. After spotting its supreme Divine Pattern, he realized the creature might hold the knowledge he needed to break through to the Divine Lord level.

• Xing Peng’s final wish spread among the Heroic Spirit Warriors, who sacrificed themselves to kill a Divine Worm and then attacked the surrounding Calamity Worms in vast numbers.
• Cheng Han joined the counterattack, leading God Generals and Heroic Spirit Warriors to kill more Divine Worms and help destroy more than ninety-five percent of the encircled swarm.
• After the battle, the surviving Heroic Spirits returned to Divine Banyan Peak as nourishment for the Divine Banyan, and Cheng Han ordered the God Generals back to their defensive zone.
• Fallen Power swept over the battlefield and tempted Cheng Han and the Black Tower God General to kill their comrades, but Sun Power restored Cheng Han’s clarity and he awakened his subordinate.

After the war ended, Cheng Han learned that the Myriad Heavens Race planned to migrate from the Evergreen Ancient Domain and received a trace of Source Law to help him advance. His other Avatar reached the former location of the Void Wind Realm to search for an ancient lost item.

• Cheng Han was summoned to the Supreme Divine Court, where Azure Wood God Lord praised his role in the victory and revealed that the Twelve Dooms were Defeated Ones from Another Plane called the Soaring Heavens Primordial Domain.
• Azure Wood God Lord explained that the Myriad Heavens Race had migrated between Ancient Domains before and planned to leave the Evergreen Ancient Domain in a Sky Sphere Leap one hundred and thirty years later.
• Azure Wood God Lord gave Cheng Han a Wooden Box containing a trace of Source Law and urged him to become a God Monarch within one hundred years so he could help with the migration.
• Cheng Han returned to the Sky Sphere and sensed that the Source Law could help him advance, while Black Tower God General noticed his stronger aura.
• Cheng Han's other Avatar arrived at the former location of the Void Wind Realm to search for an item lost in ancient times.

Cheng Han used Qian Qingqing’s blood to locate Valkyrie Valia’s tomb in the energyless Realm of Emptiness, where a vision led him to suspect an ancient war had shaped the current calamity. He discovered a promising way to end the Epoch Calamity and hurried toward the tomb, while the Calamity Insect Swarm began gathering again near the Saint Banyan Sky Sphere.

• Cheng Han activated Qian Qingqing’s blood as a key and opened a gateway to Valia’s tomb, then entered the Realm of Emptiness.
• Cheng Han learned that the tomb lay hundreds of billions of kilometers away and spent five years crossing the energyless darkness toward it.
• Cheng Han’s Sun God Imprint reacted to the tomb, and a Deduction showed him the giant Xi declaring that he would stand above all things.
• Cheng Han inferred that Xi’s relic had reached the Void Wind Realm and might have helped the Lord of Myriad Netherworlds become a Main God.
• Cheng Han found a highly feasible way to end the Epoch Calamity and rushed toward Valia’s tomb.

Cheng Han used the World-Burning Spear fragment to become a Divine Lord, destroy most of the Calamity Insect Swarm, and drive the Eight Dooms from the Evergreen Ancient Domain. After the Banyan Emperor brought him home, Cheng Han awoke in what seemed to be his old rented room and questioned whether his life in the Myriad Heavens had been a dream.

• The Dooms ambushed the God Emperors and seriously wounded the Star Emperor before withdrawing.
• Cheng Han learned that the World-Burning Spear fragment came from the Primordial God Xi and used its Truth Divine Markings to prepare for a counterattack.
• After Cheng Han reached Divine Lord, he used the fragment's power to destroy over a hundred Divine Worms and their two Insect Mothers.
• Cheng Han invoked Xi's power as He Emperor Xi, incinerated most of the insect swarm, and killed the First Calamity, forcing the remaining Eight Dooms to flee.
• The Banyan Emperor found the unconscious Cheng Han and took him away, after which Cheng Han awoke in a modern room and discovered he could still produce white light.
