The Academy's Sacred Word Arts were connected to both of these, making them an effective way to deal with evil spirits as well.
Unfortunately, Ming Shu could not borrow any of these three powers right now.

With Ming Shu's hints, she had deduced the enemy's general situation.
The Mountain God's power should have been offsetting it. The Mountain God's current weakened state proved that the black-wind evil baleful spirit outside could not be doing much better.
Chong Li had already activated the demonic spirit within her, [Earth Hero Star Heavenly Eye General], and activated Skill 1: Heavenly Eye of Delusion Breaking. She opened her eyes and shone her gaze toward the outside world, but could not find the evil baleful spirit's vessel at all.
Although demonic spirits had no restraining effect on evil spirits, they could still barely contend with one another.
Ming Shu had a new guess. Perhaps the Mountain God had sensed the demonic spirits they carried and pulled them into the secret realm for that very reason.
They had not found any bones inside the temple. Thus, the villagers who had met with disaster here in the past had most likely been preyed upon by the evil baleful spirit. Whenever the Mountain God could no longer control it, it would sneak out, plunder flesh and blood, and bring it back to replenish its own power.
That was
