Ch. 204The Battle of Andalyn

Tyrel sent Alex with three thousand Dawnblade Legion soldiers to help hold back the Alliance, leaving Alex surprised by the size of his force.

  • Saldo Deepcurrent spotted the Stromgarde banner above Durnholde Castle and realized Prince Galin Thorbain’s forces had joined the conflict.

Ch. 220A Wager

Alex led three thousand Dawnblade Legion soldiers through Quel'Danei to The Hinterlands, where he learned about the local troll clans and devised a plan involving the Witherbark trolls. After reaching the front, he wagered that he could make Prince Galin Thorbain withdraw from Durnholde Castle without losing a soldier, and Ranger Lord Saldo agreed to follow his command if he succeeded.

Shaw then informed General Vandalar Foresight that the Shattered Plains Ogres had taken the Alterac Ruins and told him the Foresight Legion had a more critical mission.

  • Malox warned Alex that working with the Assassin's Alliance was dangerous, but Alex said he needed their intelligence and would show no mercy if they betrayed him.

Ch. 223The Fall of Stromgarde

Alex arranged for the Syndicate Organization, Stonefist Ogres, and Witherbark Tribe trolls to attack Stromgarde while Garrin Thorbain was away. The poorly defended kingdom fell, and Garrin abandoned Durnholde Castle to flee back to the Arathi Highlands.
