An unforeseen disaster had struck.

Across the entire Material Plane, Port Nyanzaru possessed the strongest navy!

Especially after Port Nyanzaru acquired airships, its advantage in naval warfare had become even more pronounced. Almost no faction's fleet could rival Port Nyanzaru at present. The navy under Soren's command had secured a firm grip on the South Sea, West Sea, and North Sea.

Yet the news he received today was truly unbelievable!

One of Soren's fleets—the 11th Fleet, consisting of three thirty-two-gun warships, two frigates, and two medium-sized ships—had actually been wiped out during a routine patrol. Such a force was enough to attack the harbor of a coastal city. Making them vanish without a sound was almost impossible, unless something beyond mortal power had intervened.

"Not a single survivor?"

Soren's face was livid. "Have you searched the nearby waters and land?"

The Stalker bowed and answered cautiously, "We have. There wasn't a single survivor."

Could it be the Lord of Storms?

Soren thought for a moment, then asked gravely, "Could the Amazons have done it? Have they made any unusual moves recently?"

The Stalker considered this before answering quietly, "It probably wasn't them. The Amazon region hasn't been peaceful lately, either. Apparently, frenzied air elementals have appeared in the central Amazon Tropical Rainforest. An Amazon convoy also met with a sudden disaster in the nearby waters. There wasn't a single survivor there, either."

What?

Something had happened to the Amazons, too?

Confusion crossed Soren's face. Then, as though something had occurred to him, he murmured, "Could that thing have escaped?"

"No way, right?"

"It's nearly a year ahead of time, at the very least!"

At that thought, he looked at the Stalker before him and said gravely, "All right. I understand. Go tell the High Priest to come here."

The Stalker
