A throne composed of white bones and dark cyan rocks emerged. Suspended in midair all around it, the central pillar supporting it was a massive black stone column. The peak approached a height of over three thousand meters, while the Throne of Fear stood well over several hundred meters tall. The entire throne neared the clouds, allowing one to overlook the entire Fear God's Realm from above. The Throne of Fear possessed no roads leading up to it; unless one possessed the ability to fly, entering the Throne of Fear was utterly impossible. Furthermore, the Demon Lord of Fear had long anticipated this point. His residual divine power transformed into barrier after barrier, sealing off the sky surrounding the Throne of Fear and permitting no one to approach.
There were three lines of defense beneath the Throne of Fear.
The first line consisted of the outer high-tier demons. Nearly all of these demons were enslaved by the Demon Lord of Fear, completely lacking freedom of their own souls.
They would defend the Throne of Fear to the death because if the Throne of Fear was breached, all of these demons would die as well. The second line of defense was composed of the most pious petitioners, the vast majority being top-tier blackguards and Dread Masters. In life, they were all zealots who would not take a single step back in the face of any enemy. The final line of defense consisted of slayers created by the divine power of the Demon Lord of Fear. They were extremely terrifying ferocious entities; any single slayer was sufficient to challenge an entire army.
