Soren and the Princess returned to the tower. Teleporting the meteorite to the Shadow Plane had cost them both a great deal of divine power, so they left the cutting work to the golems.
Arendelle still needed the Princess at its helm, so she would return the next day, taking a shipment of diamonds with her. Of the profits to come, she would receive thirty percent, the North Tower ten percent, and Soren the remaining sixty percent. The first shipment of diamonds had already been transported out in secret. They would be sold near the Wizard Union, with the proceeds exchanged directly for resources to bring back. Perhaps it was because of the diamonds, but Soren could clearly feel that the Princess had become much warmer toward him. Their cooperation seemed to have improved her opinion of him considerably; her attitude had clearly gone beyond merely friendly.
This was a very good development.
After all, Soren maintained close ties with the Princess. Their relationship could not rest solely on an alliance and shared interests; personal goodwill mattered as well.
The Golem Factory in Port Nyanzaru had already begun operating. Creating adamantite golems took a great deal of time, and Alice was currently in charge of this work, as well as operating them. According to the Tower Spirit's preliminary calculations, with enough Soul Gems, the Diamond Planet could supply enough material to create more than fifteen thousand adamantite golems.
Fifteen thousand!
An adamantite golem's combat strength surpassed that of a Legendary Warrior. That many adamantite golems would be enough to decide the outcome of a major battle in the Blood War of the Abyss.
