Endless Astral Plane.
An Iron Fortress of the Githyanki docked at the edge of Clockwork Nirvana, Mechanus, and then a heavily armed team of soldiers marched down.
At the edge of Clockwork Nirvana, Mechanus, a Tower Spirit had already been waiting for a long time. Behind it stood rows of Steel Golems. As the approaching Githyanki drew near, the Tower Spirit walked over and said, "Welcome."
"I am Tower Spirit 7."
"I am responsible for helping Your Excellency Soren receive this batch of supplies, and I will hand the subsequent bill over to you."
Needless to say.
These Githyanki were precisely the ones Soren had once pillaged. No one dared to casually default on a deity's debts, especially not an evil god notorious for his ruthlessness.
This was the Githyanki's second batch of cargo. To pay off the debts they owed Soren, they had plundered quite a few places recently. Fortunately, Soren also tossed them a few sweet treats, such as rewards that only deities could bestow. Soren did not need these Githyanki to be utterly loyal; he only required them to pay back what they owed him.
The leading Githyanki boss nodded, then signaled the soldiers beside it to transport the materials down.
Watching these hard-earned loot items handed over to the Tower Spirit, its expression inevitably twitched with heartache, but at the thought of that terrifying evil god, it ultimately decided to deliver the goods honestly.
Meanwhile.
Further inside Mechanus, Tower Spirit 1 was calculating the next batch of cargo for delivery.
"How many Steel Golems have been completed for this batch?"
"About one hundred and twenty."
"Mm. Then send them to Port Nyanzaru first. The wars in the Material Plane seem to be intensifying. Are these Undead planning to slaughter all the living?"
"Who cares about them!"
