This was the ideal realm that ghouls yearned for. Countless ghouls from other planes tried to create their own White Kingdoms, but only this place was their true paradise.

For other living creatures, this land was extremely dangerous and terrifying.
Countless hungry nether ghouls lived here, doing everything they could to fill their stomachs. To them, nothing was better than eating without end.
This was the domain of the King of Ghouls—Doresain.
As the most powerful ghoul, he had first served Orcus, then been forced to submit to the Gnoll King—Yeenoghu, paying tribute to him for a long time. Now, however, the King of Ghouls—Doresain was free. He owed that freedom to Soren, who had slain Orcus once and for all, yet no Demon Lord was willing to help him after his recent betrayal of the Gnoll King—Yeenoghu. As though he had sensed Soran's impending attack, the King of Ghouls—Doresain had recalled the vast majority of his servants, including the ghouls wreaking havoc on the Material Plane. He needed these servants to protect his kingdom.
The White Kingdom was white.
This was not a nonsensical statement, but a description of the land across this layer of the Abyss.
Here, ghouls reigned supreme. All mortals, devils, fiends, and demons were potential food for them, and the Abyssal Blood Pool here was not meant to nurture demons, but to provide the ghouls with an endless supply of flesh.
Outside the King of Ghouls—Doresain's palace lay a pale wilderness.
Countless bones lay buried within it, the remains of creatures whose flesh the ghouls had gnawed clean. Most were demon bones, while a small portion belonged to other creatures.
