The Shadow Dancer could only be advanced to level 10.

As a special prestige class, it also possessed its own limits. In the future, unless Soren advanced into other special rogue classes, he would only be able to increase his rogue class level.

A max-level Shadow Dancer.

For Soren, who harbored a slight obsessive-compulsive tendency deep within his heart, this was undoubtedly the prioritized target.

Not to mention that he himself possessed the portfolio of the [Rogue], so under these circumstances, he could very easily directly master the [Shadow] domain.

A new domain ability.

After possessing the [pirate] domain, Soren would thus possess a second domain ability.

Yet this was still not the most crucial part. More importantly, if Soren possessed the [Shadow] domain, then this ability of his could be fed back to his worshippers. From now on, Soren's clerics would gain one more domain power they could access. The [Shadow] domain could grant them innate stealth abilities, and thereby obtain ability enhancements from the Shadow Plane.

Put simply.

It meant that Soren's clerics would gain an extra half-class's worth of rogue stealth bonuses, alongside a higher comprehension ability regarding shadows.

However.

Doing this also came at a price. Soren's relationship with the Lord of Shadows would consequently become even more hostile, and the possibility of conflict erupting between the two sides would grow increasingly high.

On one hand was the enhanced power, and on the other were potential enemies.

Soren did not hesitate for too long before making his decision. If the enemies wanted to come, then let them come; the strength he had accumulated was already growing increasingly powerful.

Though he was merely a new deity, he was also gradually standing firm!
