Snow and Ice Riot! First Update

The pale moonlight gradually returned.

But its glow seemed strangely hollow. Soren suddenly felt a powerful surge of Divine Power from somewhere in Arendelle. It caught his attention. He leaped onto a rooftop and sped toward it. As he drew closer, he realized the surge was coming from Arendelle's Imperial Palace. A tremendous power had erupted near the Observatory beside it.

"Could it be the Princess?"

A flicker of doubt rose in Soren's mind. He cast Fly and rushed over.

Whatever the case,

the Princess was still his ally. A surge of Divine Power like that meant something had happened.

"Hee-hee!"

An eerie giggle rang out.

Soren had barely approached the Imperial Palace when the Princess detected him. An avatar formed from snow and ice appeared. She glanced at Soren and said with a hint of surprise, "You?"

Someone else was there.

The Princess had placed powerful Warding Magic around Arendelle's Imperial Palace. Her enemies were no ordinary foes.

A Chosen of the Maiden of Pain.

Soren recognized the alluring Drow priestess carrying a long whip at a glance. Her identity was hard to mistake. Only the Chosen of three deities used whips like that: the Spider Queen's priestesses, the Succubus Queen's worshippers, and the Maiden of Pain's Chosen.

The Princess had always been at odds with the Winter Maiden, who happened to be close to the Maiden of Pain.

That was how their last conflict had begun.

"You dare come here again."

The Princess's expression turned frosty. She fixed the Drow priestess with a murderous stare and swept a hand through the air. Snow and ice billowed around them.

"Cone of Cold!"

A clear laugh rang out. The Maiden of Pain's priestess vanished and reappeared a hundred meters away.

She cast a wary glance at Soren, then said playfully,
