An Incredible World

An inconspicuous speck of dust.

Yet it was the beginning of an entire Demiplane. As Soren drew more and more energy from the Elemental Plane of Earth, rock gradually formed beneath their feet. The process was not slow. Though it took place within a tiny space, it had the grandeur and wonder of a world being created. Deities built their realms with energy drawn from the Elemental Planes. Not even a Greater Divinity could gather such immense power alone.

It was one way to harness the energy of the Multiverse.

Deities who commanded the power of laws could control it all with ease. For a Legendary Wizard, the time and effort required would multiply many times over.

Matter and energy.

They were hard to explain in a few words, but put simply, every Plane rested on the foundation of the Four Elemental Planes.

Demiplanes grew.

The Demiplanes in today's Multiverse had spent ages drawing power bit by bit from the Four Elemental Planes, expanding to their present size. The power of those Planes was nearly inexhaustible. Its mysteries reached into the deepest secrets of the Multiverse, and even the loftiest Deities could not fathom its workings.

Rock.

Soren did not cover the entire Demiplane with land, only part of it.

A Demiplane needed balance.

"Connect to the Elemental Plane of Fire."

The power of flame within the Elemental Pool surged, quickly replacing the conduit to the Elemental Plane of Earth. Fire elemental energy thickened beneath the layers of rock. When it reached a threshold, magma appeared below the surface. The Demiplane's temperature rose rapidly from well below freezing to roughly ten degrees. The energy from the Elemental Plane of Fire could not yet fully take shape. A Demiplane was not a complete Plane, after all. Only if the Elemental Pool
