The battle was more or less over.

Soren had earned over 1.3 million points of slaughter experience from this expedition into the ruins. Combined with what he had accumulated before, his stored slaughter experience now totaled over 1.6 million points.

There was nothing to think about.

Soren still prioritized raising his arcanist level, because he had to raise his wizard level to 17 as soon as possible. With the Goddess of Magic's power reconciling the conflict between arcanist and wizard, he could acquire his first ninth-circle spell slot when his wizard class level reached 17. Ever since the destruction of the Arcane Empire, the boundary between ninth-circle spells and epic spells had become much less distinct. Although many spells were technically only ninth-circle spells, they were called epic spells by the standards of the present-day Material Plane.

Soren had the gift of the Goddess of Magic, so once his wizard class level reached 17, he would have not one ninth-circle spell slot at his disposal, but two.

That was an enormous improvement!

With one more ninth-circle spell slot than others by default, Soren's total number of spell slots already exceeded that of many wizards whose class levels were above 20.

A series of notifications appeared before his eyes:

"Arcanist class raised to level 6."

"Gained 34 (Intelligence 26 + (Intelligence 26 - 10) * 0.5) skill points. Hit points increased by 12 (class hit points 4 + (Constitution 26 - 10) * 0.5)."

"Gained one free attribute point."

Just one more level.

Soren silently glanced at his character sheet. He had over 500,000 points of slaughter experience left, but raising his level again required over 1.3 million. He was now on the verge of joining the ranks of high-tier legendary professionals, and the slaughter experience he needed
