Recalling what had just happened, Soren couldn't help feeling a little shaken. [Imprisonment] was no [Maze]. He could find a way out of the latter; it couldn't hold him at all. But Imprisonment was already a quasi-legendary spell. An ordinary legendary adventurer could be sealed away with one careless mistake, and without [Freedom], they might remain trapped for the rest of their life. Even for him, being sealed away would be a serious headache. Once he broke the seal, he would almost certainly have to face Graybeard and his allies.

However, the Eastern Realm's version of Imprisonment was somewhat different, especially when sealing ancient evil creatures, which sometimes demanded an enormous price. The Balor that had recently destroyed a dwarven city was a greater demon sealed by Imprisonment in some bygone era. Who knew how the dwarves had broken the seal and released that demon?
