A gentle breeze swept across the lush green grass.
Clear birdsong rang out in the distance. An adorable fawn emerged from the grass, looked around curiously, then bounded into the woods. A clear stream flowed past the trees. A long-haired woman, gentle as water, sat on a rock beside it, playing music. Beside her, a dignified, elegant woman seemed to be listening to the wind with her eyes closed. Everything here was so beautiful. The woman lost in quiet contemplation reached out and gently brushed a budding flower, and it immediately blossomed in the breeze.
A holy radiance appeared in this world.
Everything here was so different from the Material Plane. There was no ravaged earth, no scars left by rampaging demons. This was an independent demiplane, a space created through divine power.
The radiance gradually gathered.
At last, it took the shape of a tall man, who slowly descended from the sky.
"Father!..."
The elegant woman opened her eyes and bowed slightly to the man formed from light in the sky. "What brings you here?" she asked softly.
The long-haired woman stopped playing. She humbly lowered her head before the luminous figure, as lovely as a gentle, clear spring.
She was the Goddess of Rivers and Lakes.
She was not a particularly powerful deity. Once sheltered by the Mother of the Earth, she was now a subordinate deity of the Goddess of Agriculture. There were quite a few deities like her, born of nature and unsuited to battle. Most served under the Goddess of Agriculture.
The Lord of Radiance descended from the sky.
Brilliant light shone from his entire being, filling him with an aura of holiness and justice. Ever since he had moved his God's Realm to Mount Celestia, his presence had begun to radiate a holy light.
