The Fall of the God of Magic

High in the center of the Hall of Gods, four Greater Divine Powers stood like statues without the slightest movement. Yet on a level imperceptible to common True Gods, powerful divine thoughts crisscrossed back and forth.

The fiercest dispute was between the two human gods who had previously been at war and the Orc God.

However, this fierce dispute was merely a dispute. It was not the kind of struggle one might imagine, but a division of benefits.

That was right. They had already begun dividing the spoils left behind by the defeated Underdark God System. At the same time, the Sun Lord and the God of Justice promised to acknowledge the Orc God's status in exchange for his neutrality and noninterference in the divine war between the Magic God System and the Underdark God System.

Having persuaded the Orc God, the Sun Lord and the God of Justice turned toward the Lord of Chaos, the strongest being in the Hall of Gods. They fell silent for a moment before the God of Justice said:

"By the Nether River, I swear that all scattered Dark Godhoods will be handed over to Lord of Chaos within one hundred years!"

The Lord of Chaos said nothing. After a while, the Sun Lord added:

"By the Nether River, I swear that Your Majesty's priests will be permitted to preach among humans, and there will never be any covert obstruction!"

Only then did the Lord of Chaos slowly raise his head. After a long pause, he spoke a single word:

"Agreed!"

Just as the God of Justice was making promises everywhere to pave the way for the God of Magic, many God Seats belonging to True Gods of the Underdark God System on the third and second tiers of the Hall of Gods suddenly
